Wow, thank you for a very well-done video that describes the operation EXACTLY and doesn't waste my time with "time fillers" and not-so-cute silly graphics that do not contribute to content. Had the same problem with my Cayenne; dealer is 300 miles away. You saved me days and over $1,000. Your video is a MODEL for how good a UA-cam repair video can😀 be - BRAVO!!!!!
You're welcome. I try to keep all my videos short and straight to the point. My cooking channel OneSimpleChef is the same way. If you like eating its worth checking out!
It helps to cut off the tip of the white second hand since the heat from the dash makes it curl up, which then gets knocked off by the orange minute and hour hands.
Yes, that is true... luckily since I fixed mine it hasn't happened again but if it does I will definitely make another video and add that tip... thanks for watching
Yes very common problem... Porsche dealer wants $10k fix. I found a few places that sell replacement dashes for $4k to $5k then i have to install it... as or right now I haven't fixed mine yet most likely ill glue mine down or use double sided tape. I would love to make a video on changing out the dash but can't justify the price unless this UA-cam channel takes off.
So luckily for some reason when you unplug the clock it resets all the hands to 12. Which makes it very convenient to work on. Well thanks for watching
Thanks alot , bought a 2016 cayenne and its missing seconds hand, very helpful
You're welcome. Thanks for watching

I’ve a Panamera with the second hand has fallen off. I’d be fearful of the plastic tools marking the plaster parts or the leather dash 🤦🏻♂️
Excellent, having the same problem.. thanks much

How did you manage to zero out the seconds hand so it aligns when you put it back on?
