great video and I wish I could get a TypeR but between the limited inventory and dealer mark ups its such a pain xD Owner seems chill and I'm glad he got this to replace the mustang. What an upgrade. I do wish your video was not 720p. 1080p would help some of the rolling shots of the car looks sharper resolution.
@VinoDeRio thank you, Vino! You’re right about the price. They can’t be touched for less than $50k, which is touching Nissan Z/Supra territory. Good catch about low resolution video . It was filmed with iPhone 13 and GoPro, and likely between the two different formats it picked the lesser one.
Nah things have changed. Lots of dealers have them in stock now and selling for MSRP. I myself bought one at MSRP about a month ago and I had two dealerships trying to sweeten the deal to get the sale.
@@MaximumDIYGarageI got mine for msrp about a month ago. As for being close to the Supra and the Z… they very different cars. No back seats, no storage, no practicality. I haven’t driven a Z but all the reviewers say it’s soft and handles more like a cruiser / touring car. I also looked at an m240i and while it has the B58, the interior was mediocre. It’s also heavy. I looked and could not find a better car for the money (or even a few grand above) that had all that practicality while also bringing raw high performance to the table.
@ it is balanced, fast and quiet, like a ninja. The power delivery is so smooth (you won’t notice how fast you’re going until you look at the speedo) and the torque keeps you glued to the seat. Once boost builds in 3rd, tires will hook and it’s see ya later! At 15k miles, I have 0 complaints about this car except for the cooling components, which I recommend upgrading if you plan to take it to the track. Tires tend go fast too if you drive spirited, I need a new set in next 3k miles..
Thanks for watching and your opinion, Bob! I must say, I too thought it was not good looking, especially the slanted rear quarter. However, it looks much better in person and flows together well. Now I feel like the previous gen is ugly and kind of choppy looking. Too many sharp lines in that one, both coupe and hatchback. Sadly, FL5 does not come in coupe body style. Do you miss the coupe? Same with Accord.
Great review and idea for a video. Well done. Happy New Year!
@@EnthusiastCarHangar thank you my Friend! Happy New Year!!! Here’s to a great 2025! Looking forward to more videos from you and your awesome garage!

Happy New Year, Stan! Thank you!!! I’m glad you enjoyed my new review-style video.
Oh man, this car is on my short list for my next vehicle.
Was that filmed at Rock Cut State Park in Rockford, IL?
A 2025 Tacoma review is coming soon.
Yes sir! 👍 that is correct! Good eye! And a solid channel you have!
Living with this car is a breeze. Does it all🔥

Awesome! That’s very reassuring! I’m glad you’re enjoying it so much!
Looks great! What are you using to record?
Thank you! Mostly iPhone13 and some GoPro 12 chase and POV shots
500,000 smiles! lol Completely why you should get the car you want! In your budget of course!
Great review!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! Happy New Year!
what ECU tuning swaps are there?
Hi Carl! I’m not sure if any ECU tuning swaps. This car will likely remain stock while under factory warranty.
that thing not beating a GT 🤣
It depends on the conditions…
😂
amazing car. It's just ugly but hey thats an unpopular opinion but i stand behind what i say.

Ugly??? Man that sure is an unpopular opinion.
I think it’s gorgeous and Honda nailed it with this one.
Indeed
Fl5 is not ugly but it just looks like a regular civic
@@MaximumDIYGarage I think its because its not a coupe. I drive mostly coupe so maybe where my bias comes from
