I Made A Custom Boba Fett Sculpture

- I found this Tazz action figure at a flea market in San Diego while hanging out with Toys on Tap. I have had this idea to take a Boba Fett figure and make a custom Boba Phat sculpture. #dadcore
This ended up being more of a sculpture build than a toy mashup but it was a ton of fun. I used Magic Sculpt for the sculpting portion and Citadel paint along with some rattle can Rustoleum to paint this Boba Fett figure. Boba is proudly rocking his dad bod!

Wrestling figures are such great custom fodder. Recently got a bunch of them for dirt cheap at various Goodwills and I have like five custom WIPs going at the moment using wrestlers as a base.

It's always fun to see the extra sculpts you do to make two figures that are completely different feel like they were supposed to be one figure the entire time! I've not tried my hand at sculpting anything yet, but I'm hopeful that my attempts turn out even half as good as your do! Great work!

Another really cool build! It’s funny how you can put a build together and it looks like a bunch of junk glued together and then you prime it and it all comes together!

There’s two ways you could look at this figure. One, it’s a cosplayer and two, it’s the joke parody title: The Book of Boba Fat.

I love the build, and learned quite a bit today-haven’t tried sculpting with putty yet, so that was informative…
…but it just occurred to me, will that jet pack pump out enough thrust for that quick escape?!

So I get them in three different places.
The engineers at work will save them for me when they recycle electronic components.
I have also purchased some from Amazon and just last week a friend put me onto CMS Magnetics. Hope that helps.

Hmm.. My interpretation of this is: when in The Attack of the Clones prequel, when young Boba Fett picks up his fathers decapitated head still inside the helmet, then instead of Boba lightly pressing his forehead against the helmet (clearly vowing revenge), instead his fathers head falls out in front of him and he stares becoming severely mentally scarred for life.
As he grows older, he decides not to pursue his fathers path of bounty hunting and mercenary work on the side, rather he chooses a life of domesticity. Does become a dad himself. And once a year his family leaves him alone on the anniversary of his fathers death so he can disappear into the basement, put on his fathers suit and drink booze all day.
😂 Nothing a box of Little Debbie’s and a two liter of Mt Dew can’t fix!

Awesome job, only thing I think It needs is for the neck to be shortened up a little or for the head to be able to fit down on it a little more. Looks like the head is just sitting a tad to high to me but other than that great build
