@@neodaltiair8624 you can stop it, if you have enough negates and interruptions, they cant pop off. Treacharous trap hole is also a thing, and every deck loses to a well-timed TTH, or BoM.
Lets be honest. If you check the past kogs with this deck on the website, 90% of them use BoM. Sure Dkayed doesn't use BoM here, neither do i, but it's so much more difficult to actually kog with the deck without BoM since it doubles as a block/control for how much battle damage you take, and a stop for monsters that are too big to beat over or monsters that negate effects like bounzer. Also an edit for a turn 1 play if you decide to play vier or open core and a cyber dragon, if your starting hand has a cyberload or overflow, you search which ever you don't have with the core, if you have vier use effect to summon, and set both overflow and core. Stop the play with core, and break backrow during the end phase or whenever is optimal by summoning chimeratech WITHOUT CHAINING FUSION TO ANYTHING.

i feel like cyber dragons are mostly still viable because of the skill. the "Cyber Dragon" deck doesnt even use half the monsters in the archetype. give us newer cards to use and kill the skill so it'll at least add some variety to the deck. it runs the same strategy every time. cyber dragons are stale as hell.
Your point on the viability of the deck being dependent on a particular skill is true for most of the competitive decks in duel links.. It'd be much better if we could rely more on actual good cards that can improve a deck's potential rather than just using cheat skills like onomats, resonators, etc..

With all of their support this deck won’t need a skill to be top tier. Cyber emergency, Cyber revsystem, cyber dragon herz, cyber dragon Nachster, chimeratech fortress dragon, cyber dragon Nova, Cyber dragon infinity. Indirect support like Constellar Pleiades and Jizukiro the star destroying kaiju and Galaxy soldier. But honestly I hope Konami releases more support for older archetypes and complete them to make old decks viable in the meta game like Madolche and such instead of players relying on skills to make a deck “top tier” like a unnerfed onomat deck without the skill would prob do just as good as the nerfed Onomats with their skill.
@@PowernationXx EXACTLY! If they give us better cards to help flesh out the deck, some decks wont need to rely on skills. id rather make a choice based on what cards to use than build a deck specifically around a skill that the deck relies on to function and be viable.

Ninjas relayed on 3 stars devotion/30 cards spellbooks relayed on restart/SSA relayed on Umi skill/subterros relayed on masked tirbute etc...Its fine if we have SOME deck that dont relay on a skill to be top tier from time to time like darklords or neos fusion but that shouldn't be the case for every archtype they release as skills are core game mechanic .

Edit: To the pepegas saying he could have made twin no he couldn’t. He only had Core and Proto in the GY and Proto doesn’t count as Cyber Dragon in the gy only Core does. And if he made Twin before Chimeratech he couldn’t have milled in the gy to extend fusion gate plays or make overflow live.

@Imran A Odion isn't p2w lol, none of the backrows Odion plays are paywalled like Book of Moon. Old f2p players have all those traps from dream tickets and half gem sales, Gozuki and Shiranui are also old cards. Odion players are old f2p who refuse to get new decks, they're not p2w.
I don't play cyber dragons, but the fact that they made a video questioning that the deck needs to be nerfed is just people not accepting defeat to a deck that has been nerfed multiple times, if we look at the entries of onomats in tournaments and how many many make it to top 32 compared that to cyber dragon over the past 3 months, if you can't do the math it only tells me that those that want cyber dragon banned can't take a loss.

I want to play many non-meta decks, but whenever I want to build any of them, I see that while decks like Onomat, Cyber Dragons, Gaia, etc., have access to consistency skills, other decks don't have access to those. The best you can do is use Destiny Draw or ETH... The only deck on the Tier List that doesn't use a consistency skill is Thunder Dragons. We used to have a lot of decks that could make use of skills like Balance; now only Triamids can use it...
The fact that everyone surrendered in these replays shows how broken this deck is

I lose most of the time against cyber dragons, they always f me over with drowning, sphere Kuriboh and my one hard drew MST most of the time doesn’t even matter because they always have drowning or overflow etc etc.
They let you deal some damage to use their skill. Or they’ll cosmic cyclone fusion support herald of the abyss. It’s very hard to do anything against tbh they have all the answers and rampage dragon is just insane in a 4K format. Doesn’t matter how they many times they get hit they just abuse alternative cards.clearly the skill is broken.
Some skills never get nerfed. I remember how quickly they nerfed Sartorius coin in just the passing of a single summer.
That Chimeratech Overdragon would have been 5600. Too bad that fool ran away before it was able to enter the battlefield. 🤣🤣🤣

I like this deck because of the aesthetic. Its freaking robot dragons! To bad in this game when i like something it becomes op and get nerfed. Thats why i hated that bewd become tier 1 last season i expected it to be nerfed immediately within just a month.
It’s ridiculous how insane this deck has been for years. It has literally been an easy KoG deck for years now, nerf after nerf.
For the love of god, kill this stupid skill and give cydra support cards. What the deck needs isnt power, its consistency. Right now, i cant even call the deck cydra because it doesnt even play cyber dragon. Kill the skill, give consistency support to compensate. Problem solved. I think thats what every cydra player wants.

They need to put a monster requirement on Zane's skill and hit fusion support. Cyber dragons constantly play with only 4 monsters and if they put a monster requirement ,similar to a skill like Trey's Gateway skill, this will take out more backrow and require you do be more decisive and THEN put a further LP restriction on Cyber Style to 1000 or less. Use 12 cyber dragon monsters or it doesn't work and only usable at 1000 or less as a last resort skill
We also need to put some requirements in your brain, in order to function.
Nah, they just need to release some decent counters. Let's not keep calling everything overpowered everytime we need a scapegoat.

cydra is my dream deck, but sadly its seem imposible to make this build as f2p
I built it as F2P and got KOG for the first time last month. My build has 1 Gate, 1 Poly, 2 Cyberload, 2 Overload, 1 C. Overflow, 1 C. Fusion Support, 2 Cyber Dragon, 2 Core, 2 Vier, 2 Floodgate, 1 Void TH, 2 Wall of D.
I'm very fan of cydra. When Cybernetic Rebellion came, I spent all my gems on it and it was worth it

I tried some sort of Zane deck on the master duel game on my phone, I have no clue what I doing and yet somehow I managed to make someone rage quit with it. Idk what it is about cyber dragons but they seem to be just as controversial as synchros lol.
I would be interested to see if Konami put all of the often used tech cards at 3 (BoM, Lance etc.) and maybe limit some of the consistency skills like onomatplay (only can use it once/only after x amount of battle damage). It might be a disaster, but this meta is stale and I'd like to see some new/old archetypes breakthrough.
BoM is locked behind a selection box so Komoney won't be hitting it anytime soon. But putting Lance to 3!!?? Why just why?? It's a ur and all good backrow removal is ur it's simply a terrible idea.. And the Onomats can be fixed with the ONCE per duel to their skill. And this meta is shit as hell, bringing back any of the old "meta" decks like shira, invoked or crystrons would put the current "meta" decks to shame. Onomats are the most fair "tier 1" deck we've had in a while, it's solely dependent on the skill.
I think its better to um surrender on your turn and only on your turn so you can finish your turn because they can only surrender on their turn not your turn

Use cyber network it may come in handy just gotta know how and when to use it I useally use it to summon an end or twin faster

@@kevenmonge1390 literally not true. They run only core, and all it does is search. That's not the problem. That doesn't stop the Zane player from stalling for the skill. No one's gonna use 3 MST to get rid of overflow, Karma Cut, or Drowning. It's so lame and stale.
Long story short, they can literally run "no monsters" and still beat you just because you played the game. Amazing

From the standpoint of balancing simply to make the game more diverse, Cydra doesn't need nerfed. It creeps onto the tier list every now and again, but consistently falls off when something newer and more exciting gets released.
That said, a fusion deck that's only 20% Monsters is fucking nuts, the skill should probably be tweaked.

11:05, You could've made twin dragon, core three effects says it's a cyber dragon in the field or in the graveyard, and you actived cybernetic fusion support to fusion using material in the graveyard and you didn't use it's effect that turn
After he activated gate with the three cyber dragons on field, he would have had to fuse the proto and core in grave to make rampage, then twin using og and proto, and cyber load in battle phase for game. But that's a pretty hard play for him to make on the spot. After he fused with the og in hand at 10:00, he could no longer make twin because he had a proto in grave. And to get another cyber dragon in grave, you need another rampage mill, which would require fusion support, thus rendering the grave useless. But good point, he did miss lethal, tho it had nothing to do with core and everything to do with the og and proto.

I think there are several reasons why this deck should take nerf
only need 4 monster card in deck
Easy to Destroy enemy's trap,spell card, it is very hard to stop them just use 3 trap card
Skill is insane, summon 2 cyber monster card without no cost(easy to lose lifepoint)
When fushion summon, they can use card hand grave banish field zone
Easiest deck to one turn kill (this is the reason why this deck get high score in kc)
I would also add that they can fusion with a quick spell, avoiding backrow

I'm not sure if the Cyber Dragons are op because of the skill or the newer decks are just trash. Because rogue decks like Lunalights and Cyber Dragons have been performing better than most tier 2 and tier 3 decks in the MCS tournaments quite consistently.
That’s what I’m saying. Zombie decks are still good. Like Vendreds are really good. Zampire decks. Cyber angels, the Gia deck have been good, Even Neos fusion, red eyes fusion is good. Metaphys and Subterrors. Six Samurai, etc.
I feel like the meta just changes due to people getting tired of old deck or new decks that beat current meta. Fur hires were META! And I thought since they were ban free. They were gonna dominant but I guess not
