“Candle In The Wind” is a song by British pop musician Elton John. The lyrics were written by Bernie Taupin. The original dates from 1973 and was on Elton John’s album “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”. At Princess Diana’s funeral in 1997, Elton John, who was a close friend of hers, performed an adapted version of the song. The song was released on single and grew to become the best-selling CD single of all time worldwide with over 33 million copies. The arrangement for concert band, fanfare and brass band was written by Frank Bernaerts.
