- Wow I am tired! Can you hear it in my voice??
Having said that, this was a stunning hike over some amazing famous peaks in the Brecon Beacons in Wales. I hope you enjoy the nature & the views as much as I did!
I'm local to this area. the corn du, pen y fan and cribyn peaks are beautiful, however, the next summit over from cribyn is fan y big, and it has the diving board stone slab there, and in my opinion one of the most spectacular views of all the peaks there for photography. Keep up the great vids. 🙂
Hey Geraint
Thank you for sharing that recommendation!
I will try to do that when I am next in the area
Did this hike not long back! Great vid, will check out more of your channel ! All the best - Adam in the wild
Thanks man 😃
I want just half of your energy!
What a lovely thing to say! Thank you 🥰
It’s good to see how your choice of music enhances, always almost, your visuals, and the timing of it.
Lovely walk, nice one. I was down in the valley between Cribyn & Pen y Fan on Saturday exploring the waterfalls, little clip on my channel. There is a cracking little side walk at the bottom of gap (bwlch) between PYF & Cribyn.. called the Goat Track where you walk a narrow path on the north side of the mountain - it comes out at the bottom of the snout of Cribyn. Atb Al
lovely :) will make a note of that! Thanks
😊
Just wanted to say thank you so much for taking the time and effort to make your videos, I really appreciate them and always looking forward to hearing and seeing what your doing in life !
Dave
Thank you so much Dave! I really enjoy making them!
I guess you already know, but if you use a plastic water bottle for your drink when you're walking or running - squish the bottle so the water is at the top of the neck of the bottle before you put the cap back on - it takes away any sloshing noise. I didn't work that out - someone sensible pointed it out to me 😁
Haha thanks! That is a great tip 👌🏼
Bannau Brycheiniog 😊
Yes very true!
Nice to see you again, Emily. Stunning scenery. Cute little animals to greet you along the way. Greetings from Australia👍
Greetings!
Thank you for watching ☺️
Another ace video Emily xx

@@outdoorsemily loved it im planning on pen y fan, corn du & cribbin hopefully at end of july so looking forward to that ☺
@@JIMcLauchlan awesome plan! Hope the good weather holds!
You chose a pleasant route up Emily - we like people but we also enjoy our own space and to sense the mountain. Great conditions and views. Mark
Exactly Mark!
@@outdoorsemily Indeed!
Ahh Pen Y Fan, didnt have to pay to park last time I was there but think they were redoing the car park. It is a beautiful hike, people keep telling me its an easy one but I found it tougher than Snowdon 😂. Good to see you were well prepared, gets proper miserable when its drizzly up there. Your alternative route looked far more peaceful than the tourist route.
Gutted when I got to the top and it was so misty you could barely see you own hands 😅.
It really is so beautiful!
Yes I was lucky with the weather visibility…. You maybe will have to do it again 😜
Love the video, great to see you back out living your best life!
I did the Pen Y fan horseshoe last year, Corn Du, Cribyn, Pen Y Fan and Fan Y Big 🤦♂️. The going downs are so much worse than the going up! Keep up the good work xx
@@leeburdett4731 thanks Lee! It is great being back in the van & in the hills 🥰 haha yes, I prefer the sweaty uphill for sure!
Magic!
Glad your back. I've missed your trekking around the UK videos 😊
Thanks David!
Hi Emily , me and my wife did the exact route but from the opposite way round with Cribyn first. It’s definitely the best way to explore these mountains with best views and athletic challenge. I have my own channel called Brecon Beacons and beyond you may like some of the walks on there , plenty from the area. Best wishes
Adam

Love your channel Emily, very inspiring. I'm in the process of looking for a van to convert. Would be great to meet you for a hike if you are ever in the Lake District
Aw thanks Lee!
Good luck with your conversion - difficult & frustrating sometimes but so satisfying ☺️
If I have plans to visit the lakes I will post on my UA-cam and see what we can organise 👍🏼
@@outdoorsemily Thanks Emily, yes i'm sure doing the conversation will have it's difficulties but i like a challenge! 💪 Brilliant, i'll keep my eye out then on your channel for any lakes visits 👍
@@leesteele7597 or if you have Instagram you can follow me on there ☺️
@@outdoorsemily Unfortunately i don't have Instagram 😩 I only have Facebook
@@leesteele7597 okay, I will try to post on here my plans ☺️
the rest of the world must think we are mad, queuing for hours to get a few seconds to stand by rock on top of some other rocks which happens to be a few meters higher than a load of rocks somewhere else! 😂 21st century Britain down to a T
😂😂 right?!
