I really enjoyed this video. I love seeing you two interact and hearing Jared’s perspective. It’s very encouraging. Jared we hope to hear from you more. You definitely should start a channel. May Jesus bless you and your family abundantly for His glory.
You 2 really have your heads on straight and that’s so refreshing these days. You two are adorable together and you have a great little family. Just found your channel about a week ago or less and I really, really enjoying it! God bless each and every one of you.
Thank you for the encourament to keep going! The absolute goals of your heart God will bless you with no matter what road blocks come if you keep working toward those absolute goals. I received from God those goals started at age 5 through 2 divorces, then finally meeting the soul mate of my life, having 2 children with all of us having our own purchased houses, and now at 65 retired after 42 years of nursing. It can be done with gains and losses along the way because I do believe God gives you what your heart deeply desires, so be very careful for what you ask for in life. So encouraged by your beautiful blessings from God❣️🙏
Trust me I don’t say things unless I really mean them!! I’m not one of those kinds of people lol!! BUTTTT this was a very humble video on y’all’s part and it really brought quite a message thru to the viewers!! Don’t do well with fake conversations that include “ohhh my life is so great lol” when you as the other person know better. It is a lot of work to not only dream but act on the dream! You both I can tell are very smart sensible people and I sincerely do wish life’s best for you and your family, you’ve go this!! Sweat equity is important!!💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💨💨💨💨💨
Wow thanks so much for your sincere comment! I too don't say things unless i really mean it. And I don't like painting a false picture either. Thanks again! Blessings!
Thanks for sharing your story. You are brave, inspirational, and encouraging. Calculated risks are still scary but we've watched you overcome so much over the years! And you've been blessed with this amazing property, one that you've talked about having for many years. It was a dream come true but not by wishing it into reality, but by hard work and taking risks. If I didn't watch and witness most of your steps along the way I probably wouldn't have believed it. Keep dreaming big. We're excited to see what's next. 😉
Thanks David for always being there and for many lasting adventures!!
We found a place about 25 miles outside Gillette that is $285K with 8.11 acres, a mature orchard, 4 garden plots, fully irrigated the whole property, fenced, a nice home, a well with 15 gallons per minute, 3 outbuildings that are temperature controlled and have lighting, and a brand new 45 X 60 garage. However, I really wanted to move to Missouri as well. My partner is against it. So, we settled on this property we found. Our house is on the market in Cheyenne. It's going to be hard work, but I'm going to give it a go and see what happens. I love your property you found. I looked in Missouri and even found a place with almost 30 acres that was an old Amish farm. The house, barn, outbuildings, and everything had been Amish built. Honestly, I've found the property in Wyoming to be too expensive for what it is. Then you have to deal with all of the challenges of the environment on top of that.
I hope it all works out for you guys near Cheyenne! Homesteading is hard and I feel like you have to be even tougher in Wyoming. But you can do it! Let me know how thing go on. And if you ever decide to move out to Missouri, that would be awesome too!
@@jenilee.thepioneerhome It looks like Missouri is going to be more of a reality. The place in Gillette fell through. We found the broker was horrible to try and work with. They kept changing their terms. So we walked away from it. The search now continues in Missouri.
Life is nothing without a few big risks. Sometimes they pay off, sometimes they don't. But whatever God's plan, we recover from the losses and usually end up with something better that he has planned for us. Best wishes for a prosperous New Year in 2024.
You are absolutely right 🙌
JUST FOUND YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD BLESS THANKS FOR SHARING......YOU GOTTA LET HIM SING NEXT TIME LOL
I love your channel. Your videos are lovely and your narration is so easy to listen to while I do my cores. Love from California. ❤🥰
Your so kind. Thank you!
Very inspiring. We’re in souther california with a dream of owning land. It’s hard to think of leaving the well paid job but I’ll never have what I want here. Thank you for sharing your story as it gives me some hope ❤
Its important to dream and keep dreams alive!
Thanks for sharing your journey! You are right... don't listen to the people who say you're crazy. Trust the Lord's leading and work hard. We lived on 4.5 acres in southern Missouri and loved it. We never had a well but water catchment tanks. We lived on one income with 8 children. Homesteaded, homeschooled and home birthed. The best results are our children. They are all hard workers and not jaded like their peers. Love your channel!
I just found your channel and subscribed! You have a lovely spirit ❤ We just purchased a home with 5 acres and are moving in a few months to grow more as homesteaders and have a baby on the way. Moving from home with a 0.025-acre backyard garden and HOA.
So glad you are here!
Congratulations on the new purchase and baby on the way! That's so exciting! The future is bright. Best wishes!

I'm glad you made this video . Ty. ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing your story. We currently live on our family farm in Iowa and are looking to make a big change in the way we support ourselves financially. I loved what you said about taking calculated risks. It’s what we needed to hear.
I wish you the best in your adventure. You'll do the best you can do for your family. It will be great! Best wishes!
Que Deus continue abençoando vocês 🙏

You're welcome
Jared is great!
I agree! He's the bomb!
It was really neat to hear your story. Im in Idaho and my mom's family is originally from Star Valley where they settled when they came over from Italy amd we still have family there.
So cool to hear a little of your story! We love Idaho and Starvalley!
My mom's maiden name was Hardman. Oscar Hardman was my grandpa. He lived on a farm in West Virgina growing up. Love your story. Peace!
That's so cool!
Smart people 😊
Loved this video
Great inspirational and informative video! Here in NY the rents and prices of homes are astronomical! Our property taxes are now $20,000 a year. We are older than you guys and want to move out of the tri state area. It seems everyone had the same idea, move to New Hampshire. Little to no taxes. Have been outbid on so many homes with land. So we are thinking Pennsylvania. I have to replace great doctors hospitals and High school colleges. Not so easy. And look at the interest rates! If we pay cash for a house there's no write off. The interest rates are too high. So much to figure out. I really enjoy your videos. Hope you do more of these. 😊
So refreshing to see such smart cookies, at such a young age. Thanks for sharing these valuable details, in such clear terms. My hubby and I were late bloomers, but thankfully God made up time lost from immature 20's/30's, and we were able to work smarter and harder in our 30's/40's. So good to see God's faith and wisdom work thru your family. I agree, Mr. Hardman should have his own channel. :-) God bless you! ❤
Thanks for these kind and encouraging words. Sometimes I dont feel like we are very smart as we are gutsy. But God makes up for it because we trust him. Thanks for sharing a little of your story. I'll tell Mr.Hardman you said so! Have a great day!
There are no two stories alike and with that being said following Dave Ramsey ALWAYS makes me chuckle. Not because he doesn’t have a lot of great advice but because I personally watched his story unfold. To me Dave will always be that DJ on WCUZ in Grand Rapids Michigan trying desperately to build himself out of his daily DJ job. I watched him succeed and fail many times but he really does live the dream. As with everything in life, trust but verify as you follow anyone’s advice. Again, Dave has a wealth of information but again, everyone has a different story and the ONLY real path is through faith that God knows what we need and only God! I wish you every good thing God wants for you and go forth and live your dream!!!:):):)
Very well said. I couldn't agree more! Thank you!
I had to tell my husband to ‘sit/stay’ today. He walks in the room and I have a mess to clean up
😂 that's funny. I can relate
250$ a month! Wow! I moved to Australia and we could only find a place to rent that was 550$/WEEK!
With no yard. And an old house. And we are a family of 6. I say this only because I am always so tickled by how different everyone’s situation is. Thanks for sharing your story ♥️
We were in staff housing at the time. It was a blenifit that allowed us to get ahead. Australia would be insanely expensive!
If we loved living there we would have stayed forever! The sacrifice was the location. Thanks for dropping in! I love hearing about others adventures as well!
That is wonderful! What a blessing that the Lord provides what we need when we need it! My daughter and I have been really enjoying your videos and trying some of your recipes. We just made the yogurt and Z bars. Both turned out great and the Z bars were absolutely incredible! The first time that my homemade granola bars were soft.
Thanks for all the work that you do to make the videos… we have really enjoyed them!
Is Jared still a teacher ?
Enjoyed this video so much!
Thanks 😊
Jared took a year off and is now working in admin. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks 12-20-2023❤
Where abouts do y’all live in missouri? My hubby and I have longed to retire there and have looked into more the southern region of MO. Any tidbits that you have of MO and was it worth the move, what are the people like, weather, pest pressure, and cost of living? If you would share I would love to hear thanks😃👍🏼
So we live in the north western part of MO. We have been here for over 1 year. Its been an adjustment from the west. But we do like it. People are very friendly, I love my neighbors. The pests are horrible, just being honest! But you just grow tough skin. And you can still grow tons of food! Cost of living and housing is low compared to the west. But you also get paid less. There is so much we want to do on our property. I think living in town VS living on land would be a totally different experience. Hope that was helpful! I wish you the best!
@@jenilee.thepioneerhome Thank you…does help!! Have a good one be safe!!😉
Which subject did Jared teach? Good for you guys!
He taught Spanish
Your story is very interesting. Are you both on the farm or is your husband still working in education?
Our goal is to work here on the farm together. My husband is still in education. I dont think we ever "arrive" we are constantly moving forward and working toward our goal. Thanks for watching!
Thankyou for the calming and comforting videos! Do you have a p.o box?
Your welcome 🩷 I currently do not. But I will be getting one soon. Stay tuned!!!
It’s a Lovely Farmhouse.🤍🕯️
Thanks Sarah!
