I don't ever mind you playing decks you didn't create yourself. Keep up the awesome content. It's great to see how different players think through the different lines of play. It's also fun to see the minor tweaks you make to the deck lists.
Good speech at the start about netdecking. Nothing wrong with it at all, i personally try to build my own but i would not blame anyone for using what works
Hi CGB, I'm new in the Magic Universe, startet this year. I am sad to hear that people complain about netdecking. For me the most important thing is, I like the way you explain decks, share your thoughts with us and so much more you do as a content creator, that is the main thing. I like you and the videos you make, hope you go on with your cool stuff and thank you for all your work. Greetings from a small light in a big Magic Universe
cgb, netdecking is cool, you bring others idea to your skills in magic, however sometimes i would like to see some creative cgb brews, not something janky but something creative and kinda competitive, keep up the good work man, you are kinda saving my quarantine :)
I'm fine with CGB netdecking the top new decks from pro players and tournaments. It's a useful way to keep up with a section of the meta I don't follow so much.
Have you ever considered making a deck with Teferi's Tutelage; Teferi's Ageless Insight; Rielle, The Everwise; and Channeling Force? If you have the first three cards on the battlefield and play channeling force, you can discard any number of cards, for example, 12, and in total you will draw 48 cards and the opponent will mill 96. So with a card that gives you no maximum hand size then you can have card drawing filler in the deck and build up until you can mill their entire deck in one turn
At 6:10, CGB was addressing the topic of net decking. I feel if anyone who builds a deck and then posts it, it then becomes the property of all of those who read/access it and the content creator. For those who complain about it, don't post what you come up with. It's that simple. If credit is given to the person building it, that's all well and good. Sometimes it's others' ideas that give insight and better strategies to others of any level of play.
As long as anyone doesn't netdeck and claim to be the creator I'm fine. I think it's great what you do to promote the creator of the deck, because creating a good deck from scratch is hard! It takes a lot of analyzing the meta, playtesting, failing, rebuilding etc, it takes weeks. I'm not sure I've done it ever lately. The most common is that I see a deck that looks fun to play, i'll import it and tweak it to my "taste" and if I like it I'll keep it. The closest to create my own deck is when I first saw my opponent do the Eidolon+deadweight trick, that inspired me to do a monoblack Lurrus deck.
Whoever is complaining about netdecking has something wrong with them. Nothing wrong with that. You give a nice selection of different decks every day and I love it. Also I watched Nummy play this and was excited when I saw you made it for best of 1!
You know it kills me when people complain on a subject in comments if your unhappy and dislike the content just dont watch it seems better than attacking someone's hard work and dedication netdecking may not be original but it does highlight others creativity and show how something you haven't seen works seems like a good idea to me maybe I'm out of line hope everyone is ok and getting through this tough time cgb your awesome dude keep it up man
55:40 "and there's nothing in the graveyard with first strike" Why not? Edit: okay, I get it: the creatures are indestructible (except the angel tokens, but those don't go to the graveyard).
The Deck lists that got 6 or more consecutive wins and be posted on magicgg are exclusive to traditional standard ranked and traditional historic ranked
I spend days at a time brewing one deck for standard... BO1, or BO3, don't matter. Though standard is the healthiest it's been for nearly 2 years and is really fun to brew in/there's a variety of decks, it's tough coming up with something new every day like people think CGB could/ought to do.
Only decks with win streaks in traditional matches (that's bo3) get uploaded to the magic-dot-gg. And only if they shares less that 55 cards with existing decks.
Thanks for the daily content, whether you built the deck or someone else! As someone who has seen some of his brews played by some streamers, I love seeing the mixture of own brew vs "netdeck".
Actually prefer to see HOW a deck is played netdeck'ed or not. This is how I see if I would like to try it out myself. I prefer to see you playing because you talk through alot of your thought process while playing. Oh and you hate red deck wins perhaps even more than I do...impressive
The netdecking issues seems moot here. Frankly, I'm a fan of watching you because it lets me experience all of the different deck builds without having to build them myself. I'm able to better read the meta because you're not afraid of looking at the popular net decks, so just keep doing it. It's helpful!
Have you done the underworld dreams / peer into combo yet? If not I'd love to see how you would build that deck. Thank you so much again for the daily content. Love it. Keep up the good work😁
Good job with the deck, I've been watching nummy play this and one piece of advise on it is that the point of the mammoth is to get the henge out. Didn't see you get the opportunity for this, just wanted to point it out

Entertaining to say the least, keep up the good work and content! Just tried this deck and found it extremely fun!
skyclave is meta-shaping, but not in a bad way. any white deck wants to be able to be play skyclave on 3 or 4 so you need 2 sources by then. This deck is really good with winota instead of inkeeper for your draw mechanics. you need GWWR on turn 4 and that isnt unrealistic with 2 pathways that crossover in naya. I skewed my winota deck GR, but it really needs to be GW winota red splash, esp since its a 4 drop.
You should try GW cycling with fiend artisan. Fiend can get huge really quick while getting trample and lifelink. The artisan can also search up removal for anything which is just sick, and getting back an 11/11 trampler with ECD is pretty good too.
Ok ok you may net deck, kind of amusing to see you try to apply control strategy to an aggro deck sometimes (spoken with fondness, you have broadened my grasp of strategy and made me a better player over the last couple hundred videos). If i may offer a suggestion, knowing full well those are often disregarded, it would be neat to see an original deck periodically, perhaps like a day of the week you do your own material, another day for jank for fun, another day could be invested in fan decks- a follow up to deck doctor segment where you take one of our own favorites make it better and possibly even climb a rung. Then the rest of the week can be net decks or whatever. It is commendable that you always offer credit to your source. I am sure I will continue watching and supporting regardless but the fan deck idea sounds like fun... deck doctored. Thank you for all you do, i am addicted to the play by play real time strategy insights even if there are misplays on occasion it just makes you more identifiable to the rest of us misplayers.
I am mythic thanks to CGB, not by copying decks (I play combo decks not control decks or aggro), but by improving my way of playing the game, you know, thinking is the key and knowing the cards is an other ^^' You can have a very nice deck if you don't play well you won't go far and you have to admit that every deck has many counter-decks so don't expect to win every game that is also a win con.
I don't think many on my decks are netdecks, but I did netdeck enigmatic etrata from Absurd Heroine. Then I edited it because Etrata went to historic and new sets came in. Like trial of strength.
Isn't is better to look at net decks as archetypes in certain colours given a certain meta? I like what you do with decks, and showing varieties possible!
Dude I don't want you bringing me just your decks to check out. I wanna see all the good decks that are out there bc yours is the only channel I visit.
The only reason I have a problem with net decking, is that it creates a meta that's easy to predict. I remember playing early on when I had no idea what to expect from an opponent, in person. When you see an opponent play a land and you can probably guess what they're playing, kind of takes the magic out of the thing. I know that's what Bo3 is for but still.
CGB! I love the netdecking. You're the only mtg content creator I watch so I when you teach me about the latest league winning deck and show off how to use it it's great!
Amazing games! 56:42 Last game when you blocked the double strike ooze, you should have blocked with both angel tokens. If he had ordered his blocks to kill the 5/5 elephant he could have grow his other ooze for the kills.
Its not just about you not wanting to build a deck every day. I watch you because you highlight interesting decks. Most of them are good enough to play in ranked. What if I dont watch the person whose deck you play? A) You say who it is and give them credit, hence views and B) If you did not show a deck, that is a deck I might not have seen anywhere.
Not sure why you didn't shepherd your questing at 38:51 --- it still gets rid of the savior, denies their lifegain, saves your questing beast, and leaves 2 mana open to tap or get counters with ooze.
I don’t mind when you net deck it helps me figure out I’m going to have to play against also I don’t have a bunch of time to research net decks so when I come to your channel and I see you playing a net deck it helps I take my notes and get ready
When content creators are honest about who created the deck, there should be no problem with beeing "called out". There are, however, content creators out there who are less open about the origins of the deck and take the credit for its existence for themeselves, on top of the content they create with it (which is their own of course). For me the content created with said deck is the most enjoyable thing to watch anyways.
Bet you won't read this comment CGB... But if you do, I appreciate all decks net-decked or not. It can be just as exhausting making a deck as it can be cathartic. u do u
Hi CGB, perhaps it would be nice to see the beats you get as well...I mean you show games against Rogues on 2 lands...or WW never drawing a Maul/Heliod in the whole game....yes, those I win too
I've been in MTG on and off since its inception in 1991. I'm looking forward to WOC coming out with the set committed to D&D coming in 2021. Any thoughts on that?
I usually don’t try to influence content creators through comments or anything unless I’m actually paying them for something specific. Just as you’ll ban comments you don’t like, I’d simply not watch content that I don’t like... criticism may be fair, but demanding something from a creator is inappropriate. One of the reasons I play MTG is to build new decks and experiment, but I definitely couldn’t do that every day. Many of the decks I like to try are largely based on content creators, and even though I usually like to put my own spin on decks, my ideas are often heavily influenced by something I’ve seen on UA-cam including this channel. If “net decking” is “putting your own spin on a deck you saw someone play,” then I think practically everyone net decks!
every professional uses comparison to bridge motivation issues, anyone who doesnt know this hasnt truly grinded at anything, net decking is what it is in 100s if not thousands of fields

Then the rest of the week can be net decks or whatever. It is commendable that you always offer credit to your source. I am sure I will continue watching and supporting regardless but the fan deck idea sounds like fun... deck doctored. Thank you for all you do, i am addicted to the play by play real time strategy insights even if there are misplays on occasion it just makes you more identifiable to the rest of us misplayers.
lol your amazon link goes to an inflatable dragon costume....nice
56:35 he could first strike the lovestruck beast then eat it with ooze i believe for lethal
He miss that
No, because beast is indestructible.
Skyclave apparition is scary good. Blinking it together with glass casket etc is essentially a slow choking boardwipe.
Good job especially for dropkicking monored.
Every day I wake up praying that CGB finally uploaded a non Yorion deck, today finally I was not disappointed :D
I think ur content is great regardless. I watch u because of your personality and the quality of content not bc of some deck
I recognise that intro jingle from an old Yugioh game on the Gameboy Advance... Or st least it reminded me of it!
Why would anyone ever put a negative comment on a UA-cam video? Can't you just not watch it if you don't like it?
I mean, this is not an actual question. I know people on the internet just suck. I'm just saying it's stupid.
Net decking is good and fine. In fact it is helpful to see your version of a meta game deck
Emerias call gave all his nonangel creatures indestructible so nothing would have gone to the graveyard
The Lovestruck Beast had indestructible, so this is incorrect.
00:29:34 i actually run cling to dust in my rakdos deck for the mirror. Removing opposing oxen and kroxas can win the game
Actually, that is a real nice and original deck... Congrats to the creator
One of the best deck you have bring to us...
Not sure why you didn't shepherd your questing at 38:51 --- it still gets rid of the savior, denies their lifegain, saves your questing beast, and leaves 2 mana open to tap or get counters with ooze.
Netdecking is good study material in figuring out what makes these decks strong.
As always a lot of fun but also useful advice, information and presentation that is awesome!
Cgb you are a great person and actually show your fan how you feel keep up the great work. Screw the hater
I don’t mind when you net deck it helps me figure out I’m going to have to play against also I don’t have a bunch of time to research net decks so when I come to your channel and I see you playing a net deck it helps I take my notes and get ready
Good job cgb, your content is awesome. Take it easy man
games start at 7:00
Who actually hates on cgbs netdecking when he does daily uploads??? some people I swear!
It can be just as exhausting making a deck as it can be cathartic. u do u
Hi CGB, perhaps it would be nice to see the beats you get as well...I mean you show games against Rogues on 2 lands...or WW never drawing a Maul/Heliod in the whole game....yes, those I win too
That last game was insane. Nice vid
Last game was masterclass of magic and patience!
The last match was epic man, congrats!
I've been in MTG on and off since its inception in 1991. I'm looking forward to WOC coming out with the set committed to D&D coming in 2021. Any thoughts on that?
I watch UA-cam MtG creators to build my own deck lists while I avoid the same cards... it’s an interesting way to learn about sleeper cards.
Great video as always! Thanks for the content! You rock man!
Sam Elliott Finale, fantastic.
every professional uses comparison to bridge motivation issues, anyone who doesnt know this hasnt truly grinded at anything,
net decking is what it is in 100s if not thousands of fields
This is literally how peer review works. Why is this controversial.
Throw in a few escape spiders to mess with the rogues wahoooo!
I really like this deck, most players don't know how to play against it
Your awesome man, keep up the hard work. Let thee H8ers hate.
