Thanks for sharing your findings with the drop link arms on the rear of the car. I will be doing mine in the near future, I just got some moog ones on E-bay.
@@ChazzCoombes indeed it has been mate been watching a lot of your videos on the keyless system you did on your mondeo and i am thinking of doing it on my focus
Easy job to do, had to cut the top of the bolts off both sides, roll bar side, because my sockets were not long enough, also the torque settings didn't seen to work because my bar only goes to 60nm, so had to guess how tight they should be. Good video anyway.
Hate to point out the hex area near the top of the drop link for putting a spanner on to lock it in place while you loosen the top bolt. Also, once you crack one bolt off it’s easier to crack the other before proper loosening. Good vid otherwise. Regards to yer dad.
According to my sometimes trusty Haynes manual the top bolt only needs 15Nm and the bottom one needs 60Nm. A job I'll be doing along with new rear springs, shocks and anti roll bar bushes.
Great work as ever bro its nice seeing the car coming along be mint when all sorted was a great buy for you and the channel
Cheers bro, still a few more bits to sort.
Perfect video! Thank you! This is my job tomorrow on my Volvo V70 which is basically the mondeo with a Volvo badge so now i feel much more prepared

Hiya Mark, cheers for the great feedback. The trolly jack is a low profile one from halfords. I would like to get a rapid lift one in time.

What about the torque settings I'm pretty sure you don't just squash the bushes like that.
