I came across these two monkeys having a knife fight and decided to throw rocks from the sidelines. Under no circumstances should a soap and deo company's Roblox Dove ad be defended, it's also much easier to attack than the guy Noah Samsen is talking about (Think Before You Sleep) makes it seem. At least compared to what was shown in this video.
I know it might sound crazy, but Lara Croft didn't dress to fight a T-Rex because she was not expecting to fight one. It's almost as if she's dressed to do mountain climbing.

Sure, being 80% as tall as someone might mean you're a lot shorter than them, but an iPhone screen is at best 30% the size of a MacBook screen, but they can both be used for largely the same purposes.
Another example is that a channel with 500K subscribers and 400K(80% of that) aren't that different in terms of influence and fame.

There is this pervasive belief that if your story has an unrealistic element, the entire concept of reality goes out the window. Storytelling doesn't work like that. Suspension of disbelief requires some sort of grounding, even if the story is wacky and crazy. The (important) unrealistic elements need to be explained, and the more that deviates from reality, the more that needs explaining. Anything outside this scope can be and is assumed to work like in the real world. Not having fat aerobatic characters by default is a valid stance. If they are there, there needs to be some sort of reason, like magical abilities, low gravity, food shortages...something. "Dinosaurs lol" isn't it.

Best I've seen is that it is modern gnosticism.
It's the idea that the expression of an individuals will regardless of time, place, tradition, etc is all that matters framed in primarily leftist politics (things like minorities cannot be racist due to power imbalance, etc)
That doesn't fully cover the term and it's a bit high level for daily use, but it works well enough. If I had to add to it, I would add in that it is usually expressed through mass appeal such as friend enemy distinction, pr/marketing, reputation destruction, mob justice, social media trials, etc

I’m willing to say they’re “close enough”. The real stickler though is that they generally don’t play the same types of games, which makes that “8 vs. 10” argument null. A much bigger divide than 2 hours would provide. You don’t need or even have _anyone_ represented in a match-3 game. So why would $100M+ AAA blockbusters have to change to cater to an audience that isn’t interested? They’re playing to kill time, not because they want to get invested in the broader landscape of games. My mom isn’t going to buy a PS5 just because she likes puzzle games on her tablet. She doesn’t even buy the micro-transactions.

I think about this near every day: in my MBA class, a professor holding a doctorate in philosophy had to tell GRAD SCHOOL STUDENTS to look into their sources. People were quoting Twitter journalists when formulating business plans for multi-million dollar companies. No one looks past the front page. No one looks into the publishers, the dates, the inputs to get the "statistical" data they're using. They copy, paste, say "what more do you need???", then move on.

Noah is a parody of wokeness in itself. He sometimes casts his face in a purple light to disguise his whiteness and appear more coloured so to speak, at least one interpretation of it. Others might be to have bisexual association. Or something else.

When people get fat for erotic reasons, I don't think its the grossness they are seeking, its the way their butt or breast or hips might be accentuated by it or an overall erotic target is sought for self and other, but usually has a creative dimension or creative language through body expression. A person should stop where it gets gross or burdensome. Or consider muscle building or other. A person should be in control of their weight regardless else its a disease. It actually takes effort to gain or maintain weight when you have proper appetite or frugal considerations.
The Dove ad woman should have been muscular. And if she was fat in addition it would have made sense. She would have had to be really muscular and tall though like a cyclops with a club or something. It might have made sense for most audiences.
Tomb Raider released about the time the Spice Girls came out. And they look much like Lara Croft. And those were fine women of the time. Lara Croft was also trying to fit multiple roles at the same time: Indiana Jones, James Bond, Ethan Hunt (Mission Impossible), military man's daughter (prior idea to the series). So she was going to look impressive from multiple standpoints.
After Core Design, the idea faded and got mangled in all these critiques by woke people. They only look good if you don't look too deep otherwise you see really how superficial it is. So I would say that Tomb Raider really did die in Egypt but she came back for a last outing or two. They should really revive the originals. Lara Croft was also a detective in Angle of Darkness.
Tomb Raider is an adventurous woman filling multiple roles in various circumstances. The reboot Lara does not have the same mystique, though graphically impressive and plays like Metal Gear Solid meets Crash Bandicoot in various outland areas.

When discussing percentages, if you're ever unsure how to approach it, just put the same number into entirely different context. Example:
Turn "women spend 20% less time playing games than men" into "women earn 20% less money then men".
If the percentage would get you riled up in different context, then it's significant in the current one as well.

The rigidity of these will vary from setting to setting. A high-fantasy world is more likely to ignore our laws of physics and genetics, but might replace them with some of its own. In which case it will need to adhere to those.
In low fantasy, you're less likely to be able to bend our rules. You could have a demon killing simulator, but if it's set in our universe all non-fantasy elements will need to abide by our rules.
