Your absolutely amazing. I grew up with ought my Dominican mother and had absolutely no one to teach me how to make Dominican dishes. You’ve really been a great help for me. I feel much more proud of myself now that I can make the dishes of my culture!!
Just made this everybody is licking the plate thank you chef zee! You’ll be my go to for everything from now on!!
Aww thank you! So happy that you liked!
Hi chef Zee!! I must say been watching your Chanel for a while. I love how my Dominican mother in law try’s to get the credit for my evolving cooking…. & I always say chef zee, home girl has my back!!!! ❤️ thank you.!!! Lol my in law didn’t want to teach me but girl I been learning from you!!!! Thank you for you openness and sharing your goodness. Mil gracias 😊

Yay! That's great. This makes me so happy!
I really admired your work and recipes. I started learning to cook b/c of you and gotten so much better thank you so much
I tried this recipe, but opted out on the Vinager, and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I also used a Caldito De Res Sopita rather than chicken flavor and it worked beautifully. I cooked the peppers/onions together with the meat from the beginning rather than adding them at the end because I feel like it adds more flavor. My boyfriend and his family were really impressed! (I also used the concentrated Lime juice instead and it still worked out good)
You are an absolutely delightful person to watch cooking recipes. Although I have not cooked or attempted to cook any of your recipes; I have saved a few to cook for my family. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing more of your delicious looking recipes.

Love this ❤️ im from PR
Thank you so much for this recipe, it was delicious the only thing is that I had to cook the steak for more than 10 mins to get it tender, cooked it more for about 30 mins. Guess it also depends on how thick the beef strip are. But again, the recipe was outstanding, gracias!! 😊
Miss you 🌺 Chef Zee UA-cam is not informing me when you put up a video :*( love pepper steak thanks for sharing, it's hard when you need to stay off the carb, been trying to balance it out, after all soy Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 buen provecho 👍

where do you get your DR oregano?
can you use cheap round steak
I get Dominican Oregano from stores near my house. I use brands such as Caridom and Quisqueya La Bella. And yes, you can definitely cheap round steak, just know it may take a little longer to cook. Thanks for watching :)
Goya has Dominican oregano too. I buy the Goya cumin & oregano. Longish bottles, yellow covers
Is it the conifer that makes the meat tender?
Yummy!!! ❤️
Thank you
Hi, can I use skirt steak to make this dish?
Can I use lemon ? If I don’t have lime
Can I use apple cider vinegar
What type of pot is that?
my gosh u are amazing
Thank you!
Yaaaaaasssss
Que rico!
Your voice is so nice
U the real MvP
When u say strip steak do u mean steak cut into strips??? Can I use a skirt steak for this???
Hi! thanks for watching! Strip steak is a cut of beef that comes from the loin area, it's usually labeled as a NY strip steak in the Supermarket or they might actually sell a package specifically for stir fry but you can definitely use skirt steak instead. Just note that cook times may vary depending on the cut of meat you use.
Chef Zee Cooks do you recommend longer cooktime for skirt steak
I forgot the lime and cilantro 😢 I have it marinating with everything else I hope it still taste good
No worries!!! It will still be amazing
15 min total to cook meat through? Maybe a little longe
It's definitely longer than 15mins. In the beginning, you want to brown the meat for about 2-3 minutes. Stir it. And then add the water. It will simmer for about 10minutes or until the water dries up. It will vary stove to stove. I have a professional gas range so my stove gets really HOT. Afterwards, you want to add water again and stew for another 7 mins or until it reaches your desired tenderness. Again, cook times will vary stove-to-stove and person to person. You can find more details on my website. Thanks for watching!
💪😁🇩🇴
I love you
If I don’t have soy sauce will that completely fuck the recipe 😭😭
Never mind I found some packets from the chinos!! So excited to taste it all together ❤️
