- Pollo al Horno is super popular Baked Chicken Dish that you can make a variety of ways. I myself make it a bunch of ways and today I'm going to show you How to Make Sofrito Stuffed Chicken. This dish is easy to make and involves using a staple in making Latin Cuisines- Sofrito! This homemade marinade gives your food so much flavor that this will soon become a favorite! Ingredients
3 ½ - 4lbs Quarter Chicken Legs
1 Onion
1 Head of Garlic
1 ½ - 2tbs Sopita/Chicken Bouillon Cube- To taste
1 cup Cilantro
1 Lime
1 Orange
1 Cubanelle/Green Pepper
¼ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Cumin- optional
1 tbs Orégano
Olive Oil

I know that I'm late to the party but girl! This recipe came out banging! I grew up in NYC on real Dominican cooking but since moving to cali there are no options for restaurants so I been trying to figure out how to recreate the recipes and no one even come close! Perfection! Thank you!

I did this a couple years ago with my turkey for thanksgiving. I put lots of sofrito under the skin and also with a knife made a few holes (kind of like when you make pernil) and stuffed them. Everybody loved the turkey that year!!
I had that thought immediately. I'm going to try it this Thanksgiving.

May I suggest.. let any chicken with skin that you will bake air dry for a good 6 hours.. the drier the skin the crispier it gets.
