Pepper Steak Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 lb flank steak, sliced thinly
1 red bell pepper, sliced up
1 green bell pepper, sliced up
1/4 onion, sliced up
2 tsp garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 1/2 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup of water
1/4 cup cooking oil, for divided use
Add red pepper flakes (optional)
Add salt and pepper to taste
* Serving 2-3 people

I made this for my mom. She is a nurse and works 16 hour shifts which are very tiring. I work at a restaurant while in college so I brought home steak and made this and it was absolutely delicious.

I made a version of this for tonight’s dinner. I based it off of this recipe but I only had beef rib steak and gold bell peppers so I used that and added extra onion and some shiitake mushrooms. It came out really flavorful and I think I could even try chicken or pork next. I served it with rice and added fresh parsley and sesame seeds. I think chopped green onion and even cilantro would be a nice addition as well.

It tastes great and it’s simple and quick! I make it regularly and i usually have to double the recipe but I’ve never added the pepper flakes since the kids are eating it as well. Better than panda express or wherever you get your pepper steak and rice regularly!

I just made this, and it tasted wonderful. I added a dozen quartered button mushrooms and sliced serrano pepper which gave it a little Asian kick.

I just made this dish and it was absolutely delicious!!! Would highly recommend if you’re on the fence about making this!
Thank you, chef for making it simple and easy to follow!! I had to compensate for my family size so instead of using a pound of flank, I used a pound and a half and had to adjust all the other measurements accordingly. Even with those adjustments, it was perfect! My wife even said that the food tasted as though I had slaved over the stove all day to obtain the in-depth taste of the dish.

I'm watching the video at 2am and have just gotten so hungry 😋
It looks absolutely delicious, always used to order it in a Chinese restaurant, but since COVID, the few Chinese restaurants in my area serve lousy food at 2X the price and they don't care if their customers come back?
Anyway is the flank steak u used become tender? Or is there a more tender cut...I ask because it looks like I'm going to have to cook it if I want something 😊 good.

Thank you for sharing and watching this video! I really appreciate your support! The flank steak cut I used was cooked until tender and it was really delicious. However, it can be optional if you would like try other cuts of steaks; for example, sirloin or round steak are good too👍🏾

I made this today and it taste delicious. The only issue was I may need to use tenderizer or marinate it, beer was a tad tough.
