I wasn't that excited for the Open Championship come to Royal Liverpool (Hoylake) this year, but now I'm pumped following this! I don't think the horse race track architectural influence on that course gets paid enough attention, but it's cool as hell. I love the redesigned 15th which is going to make for great drama if the wind is up. The clubhouse there is absolutely majestic and is so rich in history. Thanks for the wonderful expose!
Probably the most significant club in England in terms of contribution to the game. That and RND. The 15th will be a great spectacle for the open, we love it there 👍👍
Superb guys! As with Silloth you have captured how I felt on my visits there, glad you mentioned the hospitality as it is the most welcoming golf course I've ever been to, the history you can feel everywhere and by god its a challenge to play.
