@Rubén Darío Molinares Vargas Exactly! These three songs have been on a constant loop. I admit, they didn't hit me right away on the first listen during the premiere. But they did grow over me in a shorter amount of time than I expected.
This is honestly one of my favorites on the album. From James’ vocal melodies, the old school guitar harmonies and Lars’ double bass, it has it all. Gets better each listen
I love this song. It's one of my favourites on the album. I love the melodic harmonic riffing on this song, especially at the end, when mixed with double bass drums. I'll say that the final two songs are the best songs on the album.
I love this album from start to finish. Not a bad song on it. As great as the music is, James’ vocals are the highlight of the album. To be his age and his voice is better than ever is just amazing
Considering Metallicas “lows” (I don’t hate any album from Metallica whatsoever), this album has been great. I like it more than I liked Hardwire off the rip. I liked every song on this album on first listen except for “If Darkness Had a Son” which grew on me afterwards
I'm a 31yo Millennial and Death Magnetic was the first Metallica album I ever purchased. Most of us younger people accept newer Metallica for what it is (there are some metal elitist cringelords tho), instead of "what it should be" according to people who only want replicas of the first 4 albums. Most of the criticism is coming from older people like Gen X who grew up when Metallica was getting their start, there seems to be a generational divide here (of course there are exceptions tho). 72 Seasons is a fantastic album imo, I think it tops Death Magnetic and Hardwired, and that's saying a lot because I freaking love those albums!!! I'm in love with this album, James is on fiiiiiiyyyyrrrree on this album 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘🤘
Dude I'm am right on board with you. Being around 15 when I got into metallica. My first record and show was death magnetic and world magnetic tour! DM is still my favorite album! But this album rocks my eyes out! I love all there albums. And like you said. I take all there albums as what they are. And I LOVE this album! My favorite so far is shadows follow
Who said this album is terrible? What a fool. After several listens this album is a masterpiece and I’ve been down since ‘88. A simple tell for how great it is; look at comments. You’ll see several fans saying different songs as their favorites. So many great songs. Great vids btw been watching since your Spit out the bone reaction
My only complaint about the album is that a lot of it sounds the same, not a lot of diversity to it. That said, it's otherwise fantastic and overall I love it, and this song in particular I was in love with immediately. The first time I heard that harmonized riff blew my mind.
After hearing the album , I keep coming back to this song! ... I think it's my favourite to be honest because it has transitions and harmonisation and it doesn't overstay its welcome 👍
To me, the best song of the album! James melody sing its amazing! This song is to listen MAX VOLUME!! It gives me adrenaline chills. I haven't felt this way about their music in a long time.
I listened to Room of Mirrors 100 times since Friday. My conclusion is this is the best Speed/Thrash Metal song Metallica's done since 1988. Then I realized this song reminds me of Battery! This is old school Thrash Metal done in 2023...
Whoever said this album was terrible needs to lighten up you don't have to be the devil's advocate this album is a masterpiece and you know it. :-) :-)
The harmonised guitar bit is killer. But honestly, the best part of this song for me is the vocal harmony in the chorus where James is singing "so I stand here before you, you might judge" etc. They're really unlike anything else Metallica has ever done - remind me of folk or pop or something, I'm not sure. Such an epic earworm.

This song is going to take time to grow on you?! I'm almost offended as a Metallica fan lol. This song is so catchy and well structured that I don't even know where to begin. I really question what you were hearing my guy...
There's nothing wrong with the album at all....the problem is this small subculture of fans that equates to a mere 1% want them to just keep writing the same songs from the first 4 albums over and over. The truth is Metallica doesn't need anyone's approval on the music they make. You either travel the journey with them or you remain stuck on the first 4 albums. Ask Slayer why they retired? Not because of age...because how many times can you remake the Hell awaits album?? It's the same with Megadeth
This album is awesome the ones who say it's terrible are not a true fan and are just too negative a majority love this album 👍 you rock Chainsaw your videos are great hope you enjoyed this whole album
As MetallicA has done for me as a fan for my entire 38 yrs of listening to this band. They pull me in and force me to listen. That's what it's supposed to happen to every human being that listens to music. Regardless of how they ♻ riffs, lyrics, or whatever. The only reason anyone would critique this band with anything negative is simply a knock on their understanding of music. That's why we have alot of music zombies listening to the 🐴 💩 that hit the airwaves on light 88.1 the SUCK!
@@MrOmac09 Murder One is a tribute to Lemmy of Motorhead it's still a cool video and the song is still ok c'mon it's not as bad as you make it this new album was definitely a little more thrashy than Hardwired which is really great 👍
@@MrOmac09 I think there are fewer fillers on 72 Seasons. They could've easily left off Sleepwalk My Life Away, Crown Of The Barbed Wire and Screaming Suicide.
@Georgios Temirsidis there are a few for sure. I quite like Crown of Barbed Wire though. The whole second disc on Hardwired except Spit out the Bone could've been left off the album.
This was a super cool, trashy tune. The harmonizing is in different patterns for sure (they never settle, "put them both in!"). I feel like James was very careful in his vocal choices, very interesting, softer (not gruff, or shouting) tones that get overlooked because the guitars and drums are just blasting away.
Anyone who doesn't like the album is probably like a 20 year old who googles master of puppets and thinks it came out last year. True fans know what metallica has gone through and realize how great this album is considering how long they have been out. Long live metallica. Great review!!!
As someone in their 20s, I have to argue that. I've seen many comments from young folks praising the album because they might not know what this album could be lacking in terms of thrash metal. Many people in their 20s arent juging this record based on the past, they just enjoy it for what it is. I say that but im 22 and I've been listening and educating myself on the legacy Metallica since I was a child. In my opinion its the older folks that hate this record because its not puppets or justice. Actually it seems like the millennials are the culprits here, because gen z and gen x are in agreement, this record rocks.Theres some black album, some load and reload, and a splash of 80s metallica as well. James's voice sounds legitimately better than a few years ago. I'm personally starting to love this record, it has a quality to it that hardwired, and death magnetic did not have. By the way, people in their 20s know metallica, our parents started playing it for us when we were 4 and 5, we have heard every album, we have seen every documentary, and many of us have a deep love and appreciation for the legacy of metallica. And its millennials and gen z bringing back record stores. Remember how the older folks crapped on you and said similar things when you were 20? You probably disagreed right?

The trilogy of Too Far Gone?, Room Of Mirrors and Inamorata is the best closer to an album any Tallica fan can ask for. 🤘
It's a journey itself. And jumping from the closing section of this song to Inamorata feels amazing!!

For a new album, it is indeed a good set of tracks to close with.
This is honestly one of my favorites on the album. From James’ vocal melodies, the old school guitar harmonies and Lars’ double bass, it has it all. Gets better each listen
same
This is going to be the one we have to wait 2 years to hear live
James vocals are amazing, specially the last "set me free"
this song is dope, it comes slow, and builds, builds and here comes the solo and the harmonizing. Lars😉. Kirks solo was fire.
This harmony with the entirety of Inamorata are the highlights of the album for me
The harmony in You must burn is gold too...
