The "it is destroyed, he's just a boy" part has the closest vibe to the Black album or even Master of Puppets that metallica has written since that era, and it hooked me on the first listen. Wasn't expecting anything from it either, but fuck I love it
KILLER VIDEO!!! THANK YOU FOR YOUR ENTHUSIASM!!! SUCH A KILLER AMAZING SONG!!! I PLAY DRUMS AND LARZ KILL IT ON THIS ALBUM!!! JAYMES AND KRK ARE PURE MASTERS OF GUITAR AFTER ALL THESE YEARS AND STILL THIS BAND IS STILL AMAZING!!!🎼💯🎸🤘🍻😎🤜🤛🙏🤘👊
I'll be ecstatic if I ever see them play this live. The structure is a trip! I love the transition out of the solo. Riffage like this is what I want to hear in a Metallica song. I've been a fan since '83 and would have loved this back then, too.
That's a fun one. Funny enough - that's Kirk's riff. (Rob helped with Suicide, Sleepwalk, and Burn) Too Far Gone is sick too. Kind of a blitzkreig/no Remorse hybrid
Haha,ha,ha,,,,I do like watching reaction videos, it's so funny to me that so many people give Kirk a hard time because of his love of the wah wah pedal.......THAT'S KIRK FOR FUCKS SAKE, your always know that Kirk gonna drive with the Wah pedal to the metal and I guess you either love it or hate it, personally I love it, its allways like Leviathan rising out of the water to me, love how he uses it and to me its all part of the Kirk SOUND, as for his technical ability what's not to like, yeah some are better than others, sometimes he fucks up live (they all do, in every band) but I don't think any other Guitarist could cut it in Metallica, we wouldn't want some over the top, Steve Vai, Nuno Bettancorp (whatever his name is) fretboard wank, we wouldn't want some bluester Gary Moor wannabe and we definitely wouldn't want some Robert Fripp esq experimental player......we just want Kirk with his Wah and his fits like a glove solos, Kirk is irreplaceable if you ask me and very much what holds that band together, if you watch live there are loads of times when Kirk is carrying James, I'm not knocking James at all but when he's playing to the crowd and at times struggling with some of the older faster stuff watch Kirk, Kirk is still nailing them old riffs behind closed doors so to speak while every fan is praying to the alter of James "riff master" Hetfield. Much love to Kirk from me I really think he's the glue that holds that band together and if he left I think Metallica would be over.
The chorus or pre chorus is fcking cool, and i like the diffrent riffs to, still its a hard one for me to place in my ranking of the songs on album.. there is better ones, and surely worse ones to on it..
Top 3 off the album. One of the best Metallica songs post 2000s
Agree
The best song
yes, waiting for this one. Love the tension the main riff makes, grabs you and wont let go.....great stuff..

That is a sick riff
Kirk's riff sounds similar to one he used for Death and Domination demo in his time with Exodus.
I've had this CD in my Truck for 3 months straight !
My favorite song on this album ,powerfull
This albums a fucking beast.

@@sintya611 interesting. i haven't heard that.

I keep imagining this song, this chorus, being sung by a choir of 100,000 people
Solo sounds like it came right off of Kill Em All.
La mejor de este album para mi🎉
Dave Mustaine
@Joe Smith how did you find me
You mean Mustcomplain ?
@@jeffbowlds4610 I can only imagine being as successful or talented as him and still being pissed off
Ozzy or Lemmy didn't spend 40 years crying about getting kicked out of their bands. Mustcomplain is a mental case , brain is toast from the drugs.
best guitar work on the album
Little bit of Judas kiss riffage in the chorus, catchy
Such a great tune!!
Yeah man, I loved this one also...where from down under are ya from mate?

React to "Too far gone" 🤟🤟
for me that begining sound like death is not the end
You can rip on Kirk all you want it doesn't make you a better guitarist.
Never said it did. You can’t deny most of the solos on this album aren’t good. If you say they are, I am envious
Yeah dude, I FUCKING love that chorus set of riffs.
So sick of that wah sound honestly, but awesome song tho
