Sneaking “the big six” into your essay if a comment while Liverpool have done what they’ve done with one of the lowest net spends and less transfers in the **entire** prem over the last 6 years is absolutely diabolical
@@Eric-kw1lu City actually have a lower net spend than all the big six including Liverpool in the last 6 years. The success of Liverpool comes from the popularity they have gained and the quality of their club which was built up from years of big spending back in the day, their first owner was a former mayor of Liverpool, and they had a huge stadium day one with huge invesmemt, this gives them a huge advantage over the clubs in similar positions and gave them a huge push. Coming back to the present players will be attracted to Liverpool no matter where they are in the table as they have that history
@@Rowan_0161 you must be about 12. Liverpool have never been big spenders. City do not have a lower net spend over the last 6 years. They've been cooking the books for over a decade and a half, hence the 115 charges.
Injuries. Man finally getting some light on that. We have lost so many key players for a few weeks and the 4 games were tough away games. It only could get better than this.
Liverpool also need a backup DM, backup CB AND new LB, maybe even a striker because Jota is always hurt, if liverpool dont spend in January they wont win the league
Given the circumstances and how last season went, I won't say much until the second half of the season. If you're a Liverpool fan, you hope to stay the same until the end. I'm thinking that is what Pep Guardiola is complaining thus the injuries piling up. At least you're right about Rodri's value with City.
Liverpool winning the league would be the same thing as the last Chess Championship Match : the champion resigns, the runner-up gets a chance only to be beaten by someone unexpected...
Sadly, I've never thought City would get their due punishment. The PL issued those charges to persuade the government that the PL didn't need a regulator - not because they thought there was a realistic chance of conviction. City have the money to pay for the best lawyers, the PL do not. And Guardiola signing this contract basically confirms that relegation isn't on the cards.
The problem with this seasons "crisis" is a little bit different than the last two seasons in periods where we have struggled. The previous 2 seasons have more come down to issues with our rest defence or consistency with fitness, both of which had been remedied by in-house adjustments from pep. This time around, we are missing Rodri and have gone most of the season without KDB, Grealish, Ake, Stones. To make matters worse, we have an aging squad in a league that is clearly becoming more physical and some senior players have been severely out of form (bernardo, Foden, Walker). Pep is also opting for a more risky 3-1 rest defense, giving Kova too much room to cover and leading to us exacerbating our biggest weakness of conceding on counters. He has also elected to not play his traditional wingers of Savio and Doku, giving us a toothless attack with bernardo and Nunez happy to just cycle possession. Pep might have a solution but it we currently do not have an in-house fix for a lot of these problems. City needs a good transfer window in January or there will be no hope at winning the prem, let alone any trophies this season
@Justachamp772 so as hard as it is to believe, but seeing as how you may claim to be a 'city fan', you may actually not know that prior to the 2022/23 season or Pep's arrival, Manchester City were actually still a football club.
I think its the manner of the loss. The fact that even in their wins weren't convincing against teams like fulham at home and wolve show more, the team are getting at city more and attacking their weak spot. This is why everyone thinks city might not be the same, at least for this season . Injuries have played the part, but no offence, you didn't allow us to say injuries were a factor for liverpool in the past, so you getting a taste of your own medicine city fans.
Here's the thing about 115 case, they have to defend 9-15 big charges and 90 fall off directly, if they win those key charges the club can only be charged with non cooperation, and even that is for debate on how it is worded, if FA thinks that not giving them something that allegedly didn't exist is not cooperating but city has given them relative information according to result of key charges (if they win them) even those could be dropped, the 115 charges are mostly repeat of eacother, the case is not even close to being as unwinnable as many fans hope it is
Yeah, Pep signing that new contract did make me think that the vibe around the club might well be that they don't expect any serious penalty. Maybe their lawyers are feeling very optimistic. Whether that's correct or not, we won't know for a while.
Sorry but every team has had injuries this season, it is how you use your players, what the depth of your bench is, and getting the cover like for like. Manchester city do not have the depth and they have been found wanting in the Rodri position and they also have some ageing players like KDB too. I do think they should accept their punishment for the 115 or how many of these charges that get proven. A large points deduction and a European ban for a few years should do it. Everton and Nottingham forest were almostmrelegated, for lesser, counts of the same thing.
Nope. The game has already gone. If the club was under any real threat, Guardiola would not have extended his contract. Man City have become the premier leagues cash cow. The club and its owners will bleed money to keep it alive and the Premier League is more than happy to allow that to happen as long as they get paid. I hate to say it but its the truth. City are simply too big of a club to punish. People have bought into the success and commercialism of the club, we all joke how they have no fans, but in reality, they have the fastest growing fanbase in the world. Money talks and always wins. Just look at boxing. The premier league has sold itself. Give it 10 years. Saudi will own the premier league, with all of its rights and licensing. Derby's and cup finals will be played in Riyadh.
I'm a sheffield wednesday fan. Home and away. But i do casually support man city. Mostly because of pep. But also because they are local in terms of prem sides. And most importantly, they are blue. I feel like city are now the face of the prem. But do see that dropping off now. I don't think they have much time left in the number 1 spot
I can see a world where city dodge all charges (especially after they won the kit sponsorship case) but I can also see a world where they are found guilty for 10-15 charges and just get a point deduction for this season, and by next season everyone has forgotten. Either way they succeed (painful to say as a United fan)
To be honest, I really dont care about MCFC's charges, I think they are a really decent team, a pleasure to watch. I think they should have to suffer if they are found out all guilty or even guilty at all, they need to have a punishment, and the legue need to stick with that. Unfortunately, who can buy the best lawyers, probably City and Monsour, however I like watching them and I think they are a decent time, thats my opinion. (West Ham fan)
Spot on Landon ! They took a step backwards last year, and when i noticed that Oscar Bobb Bobb Bobb, was long time injured i knew that this season would be another anti climax.. Me ? A city in and out of zence ! Cheers !
@gerghghherb880 I've been a soccer fan since 2022, and I didn't really know beforehand. I just liked their badge, and then I went deep in research, which, despite the charges, I'm sticking with them all the way.
Not gonna miss them to be dead honest. I knew from years ago there is no way in hell they could afford all those players without violating the FFP because their revenue cannot increase that rapidly. No matter what they accomplished, if they cheated to get that money to buy those players, their achievements are very hard to respect and personally, it never happened. I don't think enough people understand how serious this is, this is something that can potentially ruin the game of football itself and integrity of Premier League. The whole competition becomes polluted and no longer pure. Very strict measures need to happen so this can't happen again. If not, Man City now has legitimate revenue and income to buy big names now. Why should Everton or other clubs get punished while Man City walks away with a slap just because they didn't get caught or have better and more lawyers? I daresay this is similar to people getting away with tax evasion. We already have rich and powerful dodging taxes with all kinds of legal loopholes, while regular people pay taxes while struggling to put food on the table. Football cannot be like that, and needs to be sacred, an oasis away from absurdity of daily life.
I've been saying this but all I hear is cry and salty and stupid shit like that if city get away with this I mean even a little punishment like point deduction its not enough the league will be in serious trouble
They should be relegated like what happened to Juventus during the Calciopoli scandal. It’s necessary for the league to maintain integrity, even if it’ll take a hit initially they’ll bounce right back like Serie A
City had 4 years to buy players to build up the revenue add in the etihad money and yes the revenue is where it should be your just salty your box around city failed to hold up
I dont understand why people actually think city will be relegated 😂 City is a big pull for people watching the premier league, even if your hoping they lose! city will be fine in the verdict, worse case scenario they start next season (as nothing will impact this season) on minus 10 points let's say? Plus a huge fine at the most 😅 The fines also sound worse because people see them as 115 individual charges, where there's actually about 5 that get multiplied if they don't get dealt with within a certain time frame 😂 Let's be honest, city will win the league again this season and start next season on minus points
Pep making football so tactical that his unlimited depth at man city can’t compare to the first teams of mid table prem teams or top teams in other leagues really is crazy
So true about Man City when they’re behind. I remember the year when we won the league and we were 20 points ahead of them and I still didn’t believe we’d win it.
Extending the contract doesn’t always mean he will stay with the club. He could just walk out with a big paycheck if he doesn’t want to manage Man city anymore.
@ true but just can’t imagine him being happy to manage Man City if they get relegated. He probably would want to walk out and terminate the contract early
I don't think anythings gonna happen for the charges since no football governing body has a spine so long as the club's got money. I think the general policing of finances has been always been put on the back burner across the last 2ish decades and it hurts the pyramid and general idea of what footballs about. It always seems like financial loopholes are patched up after theyve been taken advantage of for 2-3 years by bigger spenders only for less wealthy clubs to get slammed by the law upon stepping out of line since its seemingly 1000x easier to punish a club with less investment, international fandom, people that'd get angry about it. Maybe its doom and gloom of me tho
I don't think they'll get relegated, I just think they will get a retroactive points deductions in a few seasons and a very lengthy transfer ban. I just hope they'll get a nice 3 point deduction in the 13/14 season so that title would go to Liverpool and Gerrard and the fuckin' slip would count for nothing in the end. If they just get that one single punishment, I'd be over the moon.
They're "too big too fail". The league won't punish them too much cause that would be a massive blow to the PL and English football in general. Also, they're too rich and we know how law applies to rich people. That's a state owned club!
Considering the massive amount of influence that Man City has in and out of the Premier League, even on an international level both economically and politically speaking, I seriously cannot see those 115 charges doing anything to them, it is in the best interest of alot of people in power (Both in the UK govertment and outside) that a case like this, never goes throught. Most likely they will recieve some point reductions and a slap in the wrist for all these issues.
The charges are serious. And can snowball as if their accounting is found to be dodgy, then we can find out later that they did break the PSR(and thank you for not calling it FFP.. although they may have broken those, too), and those would be different new charges. But I'm afraid that Man City are now in the Too Big To Fail category, and the PL will do what it can to not lose one of its biggest cash cows, and justice be damned... Regarding their form, I'm one of those who are not particularly sorry for them. When your wage bill that high (estimated, TWICE as big as Spurs') you have to ve able to cope with lots of games and injuries. You've literally paid enough to own two top 6 teams. "Rodri and KDB are injured", cannot be an excuse. Besides KDB is always injured , you should have than that into account by now.
People are reading into it too much. Just because he signed an extension doesn't mean City will be fine. The better question is... why only an extension? Why not a new contract?
the thing is as long as city have pep they’ll be fine, you can find them guilty of every charge and put them in the championship, its pep that the reason for city’s dominance and it wont stop till he leaves
Cuz he's gonna leave and city only want him to leave when they feel the squad is ready Rn the squad isn't ready for him to leave yet also there's an option for him to stay even longer as well if he wants
Its not that people don't care about city, I think that's a bit lost in translation, of course people care, but they don't respect them. They make it harder to care about football in general because it feels hopeless
5 in a row is still happening, rival fans are going to have to deal with City titles until Pep decides the suffering will end. City will get a fine at most for the 115.
City were always going to get away with the 115 charges, funny people thought the premier league would relegated them they don’t have the bottle for it. City will get a slap on the wrist maybe a fine and it will all be forgotten about.
The bigger issue is what do other clubs do? people forget that these clubs are all businesses and at the end of the day money talks and if there is one thing you need to know about corporations is that they do not like to be cheated out of money, they legally can't turn a blind eye to it. You better believe that the lawsuits are locked and loaded against the league and city. This is what the league is really afraid of and if they get off on dodging grounds then get ready for a meltdown.
Sorry but all premier league teams signed a contract and as such cannot sue the premier league for money the most you can do is take them to tribunal over rules
1) Lost 4 on the bounce, but still only 5pts back. 2) There is no way Pep Guardiola would have extended his contract without get-out clauses, unless the club already know the outcome and a decision on the best time for all parties to keep face has been agreed. 3) The only reason it all got this far was twisted and jealous rivals, clickbait and The Liverpool Echo
They were a fine northern team that got taken over by billionaires and got bastardised into a galactico-super-team which is now seeing the consequences of that process. That, I believe, sums it up.
Remember all the Scottish Premiership fans screaming for Glasgow Rangers to be destroyed so they could all get their mouths round the honey jar? THAT DIDN'T GO WELL did it.
The verdict in January will be single digit points deduction, enough to kick them out of the title race this season. That will be the entire "punishment".
By that table you posted, it seem the only things they'll get pushed for are at most 12(5+7) the rest is just failure to comply, which they could just be fined 30m
as a city fan while I think most charges for purely ffp will be dropped but I think a lot of lack of cooperation will be true...and tbh I don't mind them not wanting to cooperate an tbh like a lot of the charges are purely failure to cooperate and I don't see them getting relegated because of failure to cooperate
I think they get a points ban that prevents them from winning the league but enough to still get top four and potentially get a ban similar to Chelsea where they cant have transfer incomings and outgoings for a few years...and the premier league becomes a better product...no chance they get relegated that was never happening.
when everyone is corrupt u don't expect justice ... jose put the perfect response when city was charged 30 million ...either they r not guilty and shouldn't be fined ... else if they r guilty why just leave with a paltry fine and no penalty
With how much other clubs have been punished for minuscule infractions in comparison to city, I think a suitable punishment would be relegation to league 2
Nothing is going to happen to them. Maybe as you mentioned a fine and a points deduction. But there is no chance they get their deserved relegation. There's just too much money in it and not in the interest of the Premier League. If they had a spine, they would relegate them, but it's just not going to happen
Man City will be fine on the 115 front but the main focus should be on where Pep goes next I say the national teams of Argentina, Brazil, France, or Saudi Arabia’s national team if they pay up
Somebody from Totenham should foul haaland so bad towards the end of their game that he gets injured Without Haaland city in their current form can find themselves in mid table
Honestly, that foreboding sense that nothing is going to happen to City for those charges keeps growing

Sneaking “the big six” into your essay if a comment while Liverpool have done what they’ve done with one of the lowest net spends and less transfers in the **entire** prem over the last 6 years is absolutely diabolical
buddy Chelsea is a Russian club😂
@@Matejussah yes the russian club owned by an American

Unless city buys a dm in the transfer window, liverpool's chance of winning the PL will be high.
Absolutely love your vids dude, your always fair and honest 😊
Liverpool winning the league would be the same thing as the last Chess Championship Match : the champion resigns, the runner-up gets a chance only to be beaten by someone unexpected...
Liverpool were cost multiple titles due to City cheating. Champion my ass.
If Slot wins the Madrid and City game as both teams are at a their all time low point, Liverpool are gonna be make history ngl
Go on... You shoot your load prematurely as usual. If you beat Real and City, and then it's Not YOUR YEAR you're gonna look stupid again
All time low point? City used to bounce between leagues.
@@youknowhuwitis 4 times in a row for the first time under pep, all time is a real statement
City were in league one 25 years ago. Where they belong, to be honest.

Pep's the only manager in history to get a contract extension after losing 4 games in a row
Even loss 6 in a row also gets a contract😂
5 now, lovely
Sorry but every team has had injuries this season, it is how you use your players, what the depth of your bench is, and getting the cover like for like. Manchester city do not have the depth and they have been found wanting in the Rodri position and they also have some ageing players like KDB too. I do think they should accept their punishment for the 115 or how many of these charges that get proven. A large points deduction and a European ban for a few years should do it. Everton and Nottingham forest were almostmrelegated, for lesser, counts of the same thing.
They are expected to be expelled for the Premier League this summer which is why they are struggling right now due to the breaching FFP violations
Impossible too much money flowing nothing will happen trust me
I genuinely would be so shocked if they were relegated, I just can't see it somehow
@ with the way that I see, this is not a good look for Man City
"They are expected"🤣🤣🤣
I'm a sheffield wednesday fan. Home and away. But i do casually support man city. Mostly because of pep. But also because they are local in terms of prem sides. And most importantly, they are blue. I feel like city are now the face of the prem. But do see that dropping off now. I don't think they have much time left in the number 1 spot
3:06 , Vizeh just answered the JQ

Cancel the contract - 5 in a row now
United were battered by injuries last season and all everyone said was 'excuses'. Now that it's City it's 'reasons'.
I can see a world where city dodge all charges (especially after they won the kit sponsorship case) but I can also see a world where they are found guilty for 10-15 charges and just get a point deduction for this season, and by next season everyone has forgotten. Either way they succeed (painful to say as a United fan)
Make that 5
Just seen the chong and brown prints, absolutely love you still go to all the effort for clubs like luton, class
(West Ham fan)
whos here after spurs 4-0
Im a man city fan, and we probably will pull a Juventus and still be good but not as good as before.
Spot on Landon ! They took a step backwards last year, and when i noticed that Oscar Bobb Bobb Bobb, was long time injured i knew that this season would be another anti climax.. Me ? A city in and out of zence ! Cheers !
So, like you were before you cheated
Exactly I knew this as well
They should be relegated like what happened to Juventus during the Calciopoli scandal. It’s necessary for the league to maintain integrity, even if it’ll take a hit initially they’ll bounce right back like Serie A
City had 4 years to buy players to build up the revenue add in the etihad money and yes the revenue is where it should be your just salty your box around city failed to hold up
You're ignorant and also nobody is reading all that crap
Make it 5 losses in a row after the 4-0 destruction at the hand of Tottenham
I dont understand why people actually think city will be relegated 😂
City is a big pull for people watching the premier league, even if your hoping they lose!
city will be fine in the verdict, worse case scenario they start next season (as nothing will impact this season) on minus 10 points let's say? Plus a huge fine at the most 😅
The fines also sound worse because people see them as 115 individual charges, where there's actually about 5 that get multiplied if they don't get dealt with within a certain time frame 😂
Let's be honest, city will win the league again this season and start next season on minus points
If he walked out he wouldn't get paid.
@ ETH just got paid to leave not too long ago
@@WaveCRbut I don’t think pep would purposefully try to get himself fired
@@WaveCR he got sacked. He didn't walk out
@ true but just can’t imagine him being happy to manage Man City if they get relegated.
Im from Rotterdam and just hoping we can win this Tuesday
They're "too big too fail". The league won't punish them too much cause that would be a massive blow to the PL and English football in general. Also, they're too rich and we know how law applies to rich people. That's a state owned club!
Considering the massive amount of influence that Man City has in and out of the Premier League, even on an international level both economically and politically speaking, I seriously cannot see those 115 charges doing anything to them, it is in the best interest of alot of people in power (Both in the UK govertment and outside) that a case like this, never goes throught. Most likely they will recieve some point reductions and a slap in the wrist for all these issues.
Simpson-PUSEY is my bloody hero what a name what a legend
Atleast in America if someone is charged 100+ time. It's likely a set-up. 9 out of 10 times, they "throw the book at them"
The charges are serious.
And those same Spurs just thrashed you...
An extension is a new contract idiot
Cuz he's gonna leave and city only want him to leave when they feel the squad is ready
Rn the squad isn't ready for him to leave yet also there's an option for him to stay even longer as well if he wants
What would even be the difference? A new contract is still an extension, you are extending your time with your team
Because it runs about ten years with the extension
COYS from 4-0
Its not that people don't care about city, I think that's a bit lost in translation, of course people care, but they don't respect them.
@@theletsplayer4921 having a contract doesn't mean you can't sue.. are you high?
Indeed
1) Lost 4 on the bounce, but still only 5pts back.
2) There is no way Pep Guardiola would have extended his contract without get-out clauses, unless the club already know the outcome and a decision on the best time for all parties to keep face has been agreed.
3) The only reason it all got this far was twisted and jealous rivals, clickbait and The Liverpool Echo
They were a fine northern team that got taken over by billionaires and got bastardised into a galactico-super-team which is now seeing the consequences of that process. That, I believe, sums it up.
I’d rather have United be beaten 10-0 by Wolves than see Liverpool win another league title.
Remember all the Scottish Premiership fans screaming for Glasgow Rangers to be destroyed so they could all get their mouths round the honey jar?
THAT DIDN'T GO WELL did it.
Pep just lost 4 games to leverage an extension and more money. Genius.
If Man City doesn’t have heavy consequences, it’ll just show the corruption in the football and PL. especially with Everton being charged
The verdict in January will be single digit points deduction, enough to kick them out of the title race this season. That will be the entire "punishment".
What’s crazy is Arsenal haven’t won a game in November but no one is talking about that.
Why post something before they have played... Ya just make yourself look like a tool
109 charges are just failure to comply seems weird to me.
By that table you posted, it seem the only things they'll get pushed for are at most 12(5+7) the rest is just failure to comply, which they could just be fined 30m
I’m here after 5 losses in a row
Could it be that Guardiola has signed a contract but it has a relegation release clause in it 🤷 No one outside the club has seen the contract.
as a city fan while I think most charges for purely ffp will be dropped but I think a lot of lack of cooperation will be true...and tbh I don't mind them not wanting to cooperate an tbh like a lot of the charges are purely failure to cooperate and I don't see them getting relegated because of failure to cooperate
Pep has signed for another 2 years. Haaland and Rodri have signed contracts too. Makes you think.
I think they get a points ban that prevents them from winning the league but enough to still get top four and potentially get a ban similar to Chelsea where they cant have transfer incomings and outgoings for a few years...and the premier league becomes a better product...no chance they get relegated that was never happening.
Anyone else come here after they got battered 4-0 at home by Spurs. This video couldn't have come out in a better time.
when everyone is corrupt u don't expect justice ... jose put the perfect response when city was charged 30 million ...either they r not guilty and shouldn't be fined ... else if they r guilty why just leave with a paltry fine and no penalty
He's got to call up the refs
With how much other clubs have been punished for minuscule infractions in comparison to city, I think a suitable punishment would be relegation to league 2
I can imagine Pep has a clause in his contract that if City are found guilty he can walk
Why wouldn’t city just be simply lying to pep “ahh don’t worry my guy we gon beat that shit”
Anyone came back after their 5th loss ? ✋🏻
Nothing is going to happen to them. Maybe as you mentioned a fine and a points deduction. But there is no chance they get their deserved relegation. There's just too much money in it and not in the interest of the Premier League. If they had a spine, they would relegate them, but it's just not going to happen
Fiorentina is my Italian team too. We certainly don’t share the same English team though lol.
so they have been accused of what man utd has been doing since the early 90s and liverpool even longer.
Man City will be fine on the 115 front but the main focus should be on where Pep goes next
I say the national teams of Argentina, Brazil, France, or Saudi Arabia’s national team if they pay up

I think one of Man Citys charges will be -10 points to Everton tbf
F*ck it , 10 point deduction for Everton. 🔥🔥
If nothing happens to city I'm gonna stop bothering with the prem and I'll go follow my local non league
