You crack me up talking about jowls and not putting your bronzer where you did when you were young because to me, you still are young and absolutely beautiful ❤️ I'm 61 so these are the techniques I use all the time. My biggest challenge is having lost cheek volume and not wanting fillers. Thank you for this video. I was told Charlotte Tilbury got things worked out and they are cruelty free. I hope so. I'm using my bronzer anyway. Have a great afternoon/evening! Love your channel! 💕🥰
Just discovered you, your techniques are amazing and some of best I've come across, bonus for protesting a certain brand til she's 'cruelty free', I super appreciate your values and integrity there as well, not all too common in your industry 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪✊ you're amazing thank you!
Great video!! Very detailed and helpful information, I'm 61 years old and can do with facelifting makeup tips. Love your support for cruelty-free, I pray Charlotte Tilbury goes back to being cruelty-free, I would hate to stop using her products, her brand has been my go-to but I will trash everything I have in support of the animals.
Thank you for supporting and promoting cruelty-free products. As an influencer, the products you use matter. Always appreciate the information you share. Extremely helpful for us mature ladies.
I really love and appreciate that you stand by cruelty free brands! Also really appreciate it when you put the product name and price on the screen plus the links!! Thanks!
I appreciate it too Elle but please do reconsider your support of Fenty products. Rhianna has supported the incredibly cruel and barbaric fur industry, at times having over a hundred animals killed to create a gown. Simply do an internet search for her name and fur to see just a small selection of fur garments. If you dare to see where fur comes from and what the animals go through it makes a complete mockery of any cruelty free claims from brand.
@@ElleLearyArtistry Love your videos and happy shiny attitude to everything! Need your advice, my skin is oily and it seems whatever foundation I use eventually gets soaked up. What foundation or tinted moisturizer or BB cream do you recommend for oily yet dehydrated skin? Preferably products available in Europe as that's where I live. Thanks and be well! 😘
Beautiful make up look on you! As we get older things change almost over night 🤦🏻♀️ I am 48 years old & gravity has definitely made an appearance 😝 thank you for the great make up tips!
Miss Elle......Another fabulous helpful video, and I had just started to see the effects of ' gravity ' at 63....( I am now 66) and I loved this tutorial, you keep it real and and that, my dear, is huge in my book. : ) you are such a blessing, may that return to you one thousand -fold.
Elle you are simply my idol. This look was amazing and gave a lot of techniques that will have everyone asking if you "got a lot of work done during the pandemic". Not sure if I'm one of the crazy ones, but I do my make up everyday. Not for anyone else, just for me! Another winner of a video Elle!
Love it Elle, I really like the way you did the wing liner. Lots of great tips. Dare I say I just turned 60 but I love makeup and looking my best. So thank you for helping me do that.❤️😘
Jowls! Yes! 😳 thank you for the tips! I went through menopause about 3 years ago and it has gone downhill ever since! I will be 50 this summer and a few months ago I woke up and didn’t even recognize myself. 😢 can’t seem to get anything to look or work right.
What a great video/tutorial. You make things so relatable and seemingly “possible” for those of us at home to recreate. A good mix of cream and powder products with not outlandish costs. And you don’t always use the latest and supposedly “greatest” product launch. I always know the products you use are ones you use yourself over and over. They don’t just go in a “reviewed” pile somewhere. Appreciate your content always!
Thanks so much for these tips Elle! At almost 50,I do still like my brown/ black liner below the eyes for my sexy looks, but I definitely appreciate the eye/cheek "lifts." You explain the techniques so carefully and thoughtfully. 💕
Yay! I’m so happy to see a tutorial! I have been watching too many product videos lately... Thank you for the jowl tips! Most people usually skip that area. And I need it even more since the Quarantine-15 😬 You do the best tutorials Elle 🌸
Just love the techniques and the fact that you stand by cruelty free brands,I wear make up every day ,but I wear it for me ,as a 50+ lady things are dropping so a massive 👍
Elle, this was so helpful. I’m feeling the same way. This staying home and no make up thing is killing me. This just gave me some inspiration to maybe do my makeup 💄 once in a whale. Thank you 😊
I’ve been using the compulsory use of a mask a reason to give my skin a long rest from make up for a while bar a bit of powder on the nose and sculpted eyebrows. I do miss putting my makeup on though.
Elle, these are so helpful. I am definitely liking my makeup look with less product now. Have learned that small brushes and small amounts are way more youthful. I ALWAYS learn something new from your tutorials. Thank you!
You are beautiful! I love these educational videos. Thank you so much and I appreciate the brand name and price listed right on screen and it was big enough for me to read. I appreciate you, Elle. I love this look. Sending you lots of love💕 from MN.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I have learned so many makeup and skincare tips from you that have helped me in many ways. Brilliant video and a truly beautiful look. 😘
Hi sweet girl. I always love your teaching technique videos, I can watch you all day.. you have taught me everything I know from skin care to makeup application. This was really good I can totally relate 💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
Oh Yeah Elle. These videos are like a masterclass that everyone pays for! You are so talented and to share with us your techniques is such a gift. Ok I did 1/2 correct. Lol. Absolutely doing this eye look tomorrow!!! Thank you Elle Leary best MUA 💕💕💕
I have to say, I'm learning so much from watching your videos. While I know some things, there's always more to learn from an expert. You describe & show everything so perfectly. Lol, apparently I've been doing a "drop" shadow without even knowing it had a name. 😂
Hi Elle! I have darkness on the inner corner of my eyes and I forget that part needs some brightening love too!!i looove the way you did the blush! I’ll try that! Hello cheekbones!
Thank you so much for these lifting techniques! ❤️💕👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻You are the reason I’ve invested in Hourglass cosmetics and my 64 yr. old face has never looked better, so thank you...whatever hourglass is going through, w me, they have a customer for life because their products are manufactured in Italy and they are in a word, QUALITY👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you Ellen.im just starting to wear eyeshadow to help my darn hooded eyes. It I wanted just the crease color you used could you recommend a single or cheaper kit.
Dang girl your like a magician with those tips! Great ideas I'm totally going to utilize! I just commented on ur diy facial video saying u don't even need makeup- i still stand by that but ur techniques to lifting are pretty flipping amazing! Miss ur makeup tutorials..that's what brought me to ur channel and ur wealth of knowledge in skincare made me stay!! Haven't had time to watch anything latley but when I do- Ur always my 1st stop (if not only) ❤🙏
Excellent Elle. You are a very talented make up artist and make it seem so easy. Do you find the sponge is best for the concealer? I usually use my finger or a small brush.
Thanks so much for this Elle! This makes me want to try for a softer look. I’ve been wearing too much blush and going too heavy on my hooded eyes trying too hard to compensate and in the end it all looks much too heavy. Will try the tiny flick upwards again because you made it look so simple! ❤️
Thank you soooo much!! Great tips, and techniques as always. You look amazing! I did this look along with you, using similar products. (it’s like we’re high school girlfriends playing with our make up😉) I have been having lots of fun watching and rewatching your tutorials (past & present) during quarantine as inspiration. Sometimes we just need a little “me time” to bring out the beauty from within. It reminds us that feeling good on the outside can reflect how we feel on the inside. It’s wonderful how much a fresh, bright, lifting make up look does for our self esteem even if your staying home. Thanks again Elle, take care and stay safe❣️
I have so many thanks and comments for this video! I will say, I have even more reason to try and experiment now (I don't do anything to my face except a skincare and possibly an blurring primer and tinted moisturizer. have felt for years it was almost more than I could handle with the "i can't breath" fake feeling). Experiment because I recently saw a video by another "mature" youtuber, a also love, and a lot of the advice was just the opposite- maybe not completely, but like the hook on the bronzing technique, for example. And then otherwise, some things wre just different, so if I can ever get started in this, I'm gonna have some fun, lol. I just turned 46, have a few wrinkles, but pores have gotten huge and are big concern, besides looking as bad as my health is, which is the only thing i really try to hide. I do eyes to have fun and enjoy looking in mirror. My thorn in the flesh is facial hair. I would use the blading, but have PCOS, and do know some grows back very different on me, so don't do that. Anyway, i thankyou as well for the eye tricks. Younger youtubers go way under the eye now, and i like the look, but it looks like I was trying to give myself 2 black eyes when i do it. i like the way you did yours. I know that wasn't the point- this is a lifting video and that's why I watched. Really interested in learning the contouring process and when and where everything fits in. Will i ever get comfy putting a lot of stuff on my face????? Grrr. - its the discomfort and not feeling like I look real or like myself that bothers me. i have no problem wearing too much eye shadow for my age, lol (depnding on who would be critiquing i guess, but its just fun). Bless you and thankyou so much for your tips.
Awesome tips. I especially like that you talk about pressure and how to find the points. You keep it specific. I need that! I need to go and do this today. Retin-A peeling is not makeup friendly. Could you do a video sometime about how to adjust makeup/skincare for peeling/flaking?
I recently turned 50 and jowls are a problem for me now as well. I honestly hate it! Right now I'm in bed with COVID, and the only good thing I have to say about it is I have lost my appetite, so the 10 pounds i gained during lockdown are FINALLY starting to come off. Im hoping the weight loss will help with jowls. But in the meantime, I'm going to practice these great techniques! Thanks, Elle!
Just lovely !! Thank you 💖, hey forgive me. I wear glasses for people that can't see far, so makes eyes small, and been working a lot of those eye tips for awhile! Your awesome Elle. I lost you a bit on the marinette lines. As I just turned..let's just say lots older than you. Still so appreciate catching up on your lovely tips ! You are my go to person 😊😘
That was brilliant, especially the below and side of nose advice..... I’ve always been thin but with a round lifted face.....I’ve recently lost a lot of weight....too much,so those hints have really helped 😊💞😍. Thank you for standing by Cruelty Free Brands..... Thank you for this. I have the same jowl issue you seem to have. That contouring trick really helped. You you go across to the side of the jaw as well or is the counter to the front only being contoured?
