Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal.... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

I just sailed on the dream a month ago and I can’t agree more, the beauty and the beast show was absolutely incredible. I’ve never seen any version of the movies yet but it was hands down the best part of my cruise.

Thanks great video since we have never been on Disney great to see your thoughts. Someday we will cruise Disney. Ports missed sucks we were on a cruse to Aruba, Curacao, and Bonaire. We missed Aruba due to high winds but still on our bucket list to get to Aruba. Again love your videos.

I would be super interested to hear your thoughts on it, especially after your traveling with DCL which likely has one of the highest amount of younger passengers!

Did you all see the news? RCL and Starbucks agreed to let your drink package work on cruises. So if you get drunk packages they can now be used at Starbucks. I’m guessing you all will be happy!

My wife and I recently got back from our RC cruise on independence of the seas.
We were in Nassau when the storm hit. It was 9am in the morning, and we were just about to disembark. Right as we were scanning our sea pass, the wind caused both gangways to collapse and all you could see was a curtain of rain.
RC had to cancel all excursions until like 1pm until the port authority was able to pull the gangways out of the water.
Crazily enough as bad as the storm was, it only lasted until about 1pm. RC extended the stay in Nassau until 730pm. So we got to explore the island.
All in all it started crazy, no one got hurt, and ended pretty well.
Oh. My. Goodness. We are literally on our way to our Harmony of the Seas cruise when I noticed you posted this video..so I thought I would watch to pass some time…when I saw you chose our comment we all started screaming in the car. 😂😂 So cool!

We feel like doing nothing a lot! Sometimes we do and the camera never sees it. But for this cruise, we really wanted to cram a lot in on our first disney cruise

Regarding the pirate thing…we had friends on an Azmara cruise down in the Gulf of Suez and Gulf of Aden. On a couple nights, they had to shutter up the entire ship to keep the lights as low as possible. They also had crew members stationed on deck all night with high pressure water hoses just in case anyone would try to climb aboard!

Another question, but not a dinner one 🤣: On Disney cruises, do you have to reserve your seat at the shows, trivia, activities, etc. like you do on Royal? Also, are the restaurants you’re rotating through included in the cruise fare?
This is a good question! We’ll answer this at dinner, but it’s probably boarding Adventure, because we wanted to cruise together so bad, and our bookings kept getting canceled.
There’s no reservations for shows or trivia etc. And yeah the rotating restaurants are included

I absolutely love the Dream! Brian, I agree with you…the cruise version of Beauty and the Beast is way better than the Hollywood Studios version. But I also didn’t love the live action version. We were on a 4 night cruise and we did have a pirate night menu.

I have a dinner time question! What is a core cruise memory that made you fully realize your love of cruising? When I was 11 or 12, I just remember being in such complete awe of the ship design. I fell in love with the cruise aesthetic (grand atriums, bright and shiny auditoriums, pool decks lined with lounge chairs and cups with little umbrellas…..the *aesthetic*) and from that point on, cruising became my favorite way to travel.

What are the things hanging from your necks constantly?
I had friends who are SUPER knowledgable about Disney and we teamed up. Personally, I was gifted a VIP tour of Disneyland after Club 33 from business vendor/friend. My wife was impressed and embarrassed because I knew more than the VIP guide at Disneyland. And I am really good at trivia in general. Over two cruises, we play a lot of trivia. Never, won one with my partners, not even close. Last one they couldn't help, so my wife and oldest daughter went with me. The stars aligned. Not a super talented crowd, it was all Disney animation, and finally, we won. Usually, we got crushed. Don't care, I will take it. Don't feel bad, Disney trivia on DCL cruises is filled with Lou Mongellos, the guy who wrote the book on Disney Trivia.
You have to tell us what Rock Band did Disney approach for Rockin Roller Coaster, I googled it and nothing came up.
They claimed it was U2, but my googling showed that they approached multiple bands, so who knows
