Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl..... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

So surprised it came in 5 weeks, I read online it took some people 6 months! Fingers crossed we have good weather on the Magic and can try it, you never know when sailing during hurricane season🤞

Dinner Question: For a couple that does not have kids, do you ever get annoyed by too many kids on Disney cruises?
haha this is a good question! we definitely get annoyed sometimes but we try to remind ourselves that it comes with the territory of cruising on Disney

Me and best friend have been on 2 Disney Cruise without kids and we had fun. Kids have never bothered me. I wouldn’t worry about it.

I was thinking this too, it’s amazing how many people don’t know to do that and kids whose parents never adjust it either and they are sitting way too low to be able to pedal effectively!

I love cocktails and trying speciality cocktails at restaurants and bars. I've always been very unimpressed by the Star Wars cocktails Disney comes up with. I went to Oga's at Disneyland and had two different cocktails, which were both pretty lackluster. One was fine, but the other was pretty bad. I think they're theming is great and immersive, but they should just stick to making good drinks instead of weird or interesting ones that fit the theme.

Cruise ships can only blow horns when not warning of hazards in a few ports, as most ports have heavy fines for noise pollution.
My dream is to do transatlantic or transpacific cruises. I love the idea of having a week to relax and a week to explore amazing destinations. Have you considered them also? My husband and I were your first subscribers! Huge fans!! We cancel plans to watch your videos!!😂😂 also my sister has never seen your videos but calls towel animals Gus because I told her that’s what they are called.

I’ve heard from other vloggers that the Captain of Wish is anti horn. Not sure how true but I didn’t hear any horn on their videos either.
Oh that makes me sad. We're doing a back to back in 2 weeks and the horn is what sets Disney apart from everyone else. I LOVED it on the Dream.
Agreed on Palo! The best food and service at sea! The problem with Palo on the Wish is if it’s your first sailing on that ship it’s almost impossible to skip one of the restaurant options and do Palo because you don’t want to miss one of those experiences. It makes more sense on a 5-7 day (or a repeat sailing on wish).
The mocktails in hyperspace lounge are not great. They should also offer more non alcoholic options and make them more fun. I don’t know why they can’t at least have like the blue milk from galaxy’s edge. Seems like it would be easy. I was really disappointed in the themeing in this lounge as a Star Wars fan. I loved some of the drinks though.
Gotta disagree on the bbq. Cookies is better than marceline and cabanas. I forget, did you guys eat at the one in serenity bay which has also has steak?
Biking castaway is I think the number one underrated thing to do that most people will never do.

What we do is make a reservation at Paulo's the first night and then ask at the restaurant if they have openings for the next night's. We end up eating there every night. And...the Butternut Squash is the best.
