Audi takes no risks whatsoever and the models all have the same design language. Boring to no end. BMW at least takes some risk and every model has its own unique and bold look. Even Mercedes has some differing designs even though they got pretty boring as well.
@@Kostas_Dikefalaios I prefer "boring" (althought there is nothing boring about the q8), than complete shit like bmws new designs. Their new designs are outraceous, with not much bmw heritage.

When you talked about in a kinda old video, that Volkswagen had a strict manual in how to design straight-lined, very cohesive and square-looking cars, this is what I expected to see. It's sad to see that Volkswagen didn't continue following that path, but I'm glad that Audi took that journey seriously!
Audi and Porsche are the only German car companies that are making good looking new cars!
Mercedes have aswell with the E class and GT63, name another good new Audi, Q4 is a lump of shit and Q8 e tron has a cheese grater grille, some Audis can’t compete with Mercedes
@@MaxK934 The new E-Class has gotten some of weird bubbly look of their electric cars. The AMG-GT looks arguably worse now, and that would be the design language used in a new GT63, which still looks good because it's design is from 2018. The entire Audi lineup, except for the ones you mentioned, look really good

Q7 and Q8 naming makes sense. Just like the A6 to A7, same platform but sportier design on the higher number. Same thing BMW does with X5 vs X6 and X3 vs X4

The brushes aluminum trim style looks incredible! Really allows you to study and appreciate the trim work instead of hiding it in black ❤
A5 is the coupe version of the A4, A7 is the coupe version of the A6, Q8 is the coupe version of the Q7. It's in the right order.
They should of just called it q7 coupe-like all their other SUVs
The odd Numbers will be combustion and the others Electric in the Future
Rear end looks better on the old one, front looks better on the new one.

It’s pretty nice but I wouldn’t say they ‘nailed it’.
the only thing missing from the sq8 is the 4.0 tdi. We used to get that in Europe. The q8 is probably my favorite non hard core 4x4 that i really like and the only coupe suv that i like.
I would say it needs larger wheels. Most cars need larger wheels to match their cool concept cars/sketches.

I’ve always wondered why the Q8 has bumper headlights when there is plenty of room to have put the main lighting elements in with the DRLs.

I think it has a higher number than Q7 (Q8) because it starts with higher output engines & it's based on the Urus.
The A8 is Not related to the A7.
I like the new BMW x6 and I like the Mercedes GLE coupe from the side , quarter panel , and rear only. This sq8 is nice front to rear.
This is the first time that I prefer a vehicle without the black package. The sq8 looks great.

Q7 came out years before the Q8 so the Q8 should of been called the Q6 because of it's size.
I see a premium German automobile here that looks great, and I wonder, in 5-7 years will I have to walk - no, run, away from it.

The A7 is an A6, whilst the Q8 is a Q7.

All I'm seeing when looking at the front is its giant chromed out lips. Just like the Telluride refresh, it's ugly.

This new 'Covid mask look' is definitely an improvement to the common 'Whale shark going after it's prey' -brand design.
These german manufacturers are truly relying heavily on their chosen Stockholm syndrome design strategy with their brand loyal customers.

This time I seriously disagree with you. All the LED-porn Audi introduced is just stupid. It has to make up for a total lack of interesting or nice car design and it ruins whatever good their is in their car designs. Which isn't much.
Audi needs to stop being lazy with the interior design. It's wayyyyy overdue. Why Audi? I bought BMW X5 because I had the 2020 Q7 and the current model has exactly the same interior. What kind of business is this?

The interior going change soon look up Audi A8 Grand Sphere which is next gen A8 coming in 2025
The Q7 is nearly end of generation cycle I think it was delay by 1 year due to chip shortage and software issues in 2022 now it coming in 2024.
