Universal Vehicle Overview | Rough Country Multiple Light Controller

Each of these controllers includes a power distribution block, a six-row switch hub, mounting hardware, and high-temperature, abrasion resistant wiring cables. Designed for use in almost any vehicle, this professional-quality power distribution system and switchboard allow you to add professional control for your electronic devices to your interior without the need to pull your dashboard apart or splice into your factory wiring. The in-line fused relay allows you to safely connect up to six devices to any one of the six interior switches. To ensure you always have the juice you need to flip over your engine when it’s time to hit the road or the trail this controller employs an integrated LVCO (Low-Voltage Cut-Off) Circuit that detects the battery voltage and will cut-off each accessory when the battery falls below operating voltage. Additional features include a 12-position terminal block for hooking up accessories, six plug-in style 40-amp cube relays and six ATO style 30-amp automotive fuses.

From the controller to the switch box, where are you running those wires into the cab? I had two mechanics tell me they will have to drill into the cab to run the line from the controller box to the dash mounted switch box despite being told it was just a plug in and go easy install.

@@RebelViking912 no worries, I have a lightbar, ditch lights and soon the controller so my plan is to do it all at once. Winter is coming and I live in the mountains… take it easy.

I would like to have seen a little more video of where and how you installed the controller in the engine compartment. I have a 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 w/6.7 CTD. I have bought this same universl Rough Country Controller; however, I'm having a difficult time trying to find a good location to mount it in my engine bay. I have the 2 battery set up. The controller's base is built like a tank with heavy gauge powder coated steel. The cover is also high quality heavy guage aluminum - but the latches are very dissappointingly cheap. I need this controller to help control the 4 different sets of auxillary lights, but finding a good mounting location is proving very hard for my truck.

They should offer adhesive labels for the switches. The RC logo on every switch is just an awful idea.

They do but something with dlr will require two switches to use since its essentially two different lights
