You also can try the wave method of building color palette
Just a question as I don't see this much with other tutorials on color palettes: how do you deal when a brand identity has a rainbow of colors? how do you know which colors for the 60/30/10 rule? I always see this on pinterest or etsy of brand kits having pastel rainbow branding kits and it seems to be confusing but amazing at the same time. xD
Colour Palette Rules
Find colors that represent the company's products (their services, products etc)
1.) Select at-least 6 types of colors to choose from.
2x primary colors.
2x secondary colors.
2x accent colors.
5.) Make sure to add a good mix of Light to Dark colors so as to add contrast.
6.) Look at colors like a percentage and use the 60 percent primary most color, 30 percent for the secondary color and 10 percent for the Accent color.
Its sometimes okay to break the rules. 😉
Can you help more because I'm struggling specially with accent color how I get it and how about light and dark? As you mentioned

your office space always looks so cozy!!
Yaas, so grateful to have that space! The first 6 months of lockdown I was working in my room and felt so uncreative because of the confined space, so it’s helped a lot 🥳
Your videos always radiate so much peace and joy, something I can never thank you enough for 💛 Your editing and aesthetic never cease to amaze me 🥺 I’m so thankful for you!
Ahh thank you angel!!! Got my editor to thank for the editing and aesthetic 🤭🥳 x

I'm starting to study college now. I can only afford two A.S., do you think I can be successful with an A.S. in Business and an A.S. in Graphic Design?
Did he use intersection of colours technique in the end 5.54
You didn't leave a link for the color palette

@@abiconnick thank youu 😍
And I was just looking for the answers of the colour quiz in the comments
One is Pepsi I think. The middle one
What app did you use on your research?
Milanote ☺️
@@abiconnick thank you!...
The only one I can tell right away is Pallette 3 - I think it's Subway
Oh! Yes! I have been trying to figure these out, and I thought "lawn care" for that one. Like John Deere. I didn't think of Subway. 😅
Starbucks, Pepsi/France, and Subway?
Hey abi, is it okay to use only two colors?
Yes of course, it all depends on the brand requirements! Uber is a great example of a brand that just used black & white 😊
@@abiconnick thank youuu
hey abi do you have video where you explain about creative direction?
@@mayjanedoquila I currently do not, but am working on one bts!
@@abiconnick thank you for always replying here ❤

Domino's, Subway and what's the other one?
That's interesting, because my first guess was Starbucks, Pepsi and Sprite. Though I think that you were correct with Subway. And I'm not 100% sure about Starbucks as I'm not American and we don't really have Starbucks here.
@@Aleesharose Yes I think you're right with the pepsi. Starbucks doesn't have black in the logo so I think that one's something else. 🤔
@@nehamazumder6443 Could it be Lacoste?
ay was i the only one who conected those colors to country flag :)
I see it!!!
