Turkish lahmacun dough has no yeast or milk. We aren't baking pogaca Meliz. Lahmacun dough needs to be crunchy, not soft. It only requires salt, water and flour. This isn't the only mistake she makes in the entire recipe. The meat paste needs to be watery. If it isn't wet, the meat paste will dry up, get smaller, burn and become something not very tasty. The third mistake she made, I wouldn't call it a complete mistake but she could use a pizza stone. Meliz Berg cannot bear constructive criticism on Instagram. She preferred to block me when I pointed out her mistakes in the recipe. There is a difference between insulting and criticism. To be a public figure on social media, you must handle criticism. Turkish kitchen is often wrongly represented in the world, primarily underrepresented. It is a rich kitchen with lots of tasteful recipes. The food bloggers who claim to cook Turkish recipes must follow the original recipes and learn the details because the beauty of cooking is in the details. Otherwise, don't call it a Turkish food recipe if you get your recipes from google.

Finally, someone speaks up about her. I got blocked too for questioning her lahmacun recipe!

This looks similar to the latest craze of smashed taco burgers…... Tortilla, mince and seasoning speared thinly..then fried on both sides….add filling of your choice…fold….eat….simple.
