I love it ! I’ve been looking for a mid size sedan and drove the Mazda 6 , Camry and the Passat and the accord is by far the best of this segment.
I love my '20 Accord Touring 2.0T. Such a great driving car and does almost everything exceptionally well.
Honda is always above and ahead of everyone else. Go Honda.

Really nigga
Excellent review with honest criticism, when most reviewers are gushing over this car as if it is the greatest thing since sliced bread. The are other mid size cars out there that deserve praise, the Accord may be the best but it is not alone in the mid size segment.
I differ when you said no one is buying the Accord sedan because it's sporty. I haven't driven the Mazda but I'm going to give it the benefit of the doubt and assume it's a little more sporty than the Accord. Where I differ is that the Sport trim is a solid buy if you want an all around capable sporty sedan. With safety tech and loads of torque; which is unheard of for an Accord, it's price point makes the sedan a smart sporty sedan buy. Modifying it will also add to its sporty tendencies. In this class I would choose this over a V6 sedan. It's lighter because of the turbo 4, and this cannot be overlooked on twisty roads and on and off ramps.
It is also the loudest in cabin . Noisy engine and insulation is poor. I had one as a loaner. Was so happy to get my 13 Accord V6 back from service. Nothing as smooth as that V6. Just wait until those turbos start going.
This thing is gorgeous
Nice looking, first Accord I like the looks of.
You mentioned a heads up display while driving a 2.0 T Sport 6MT, but the HUD is only on the Touring trim, right?
Yes, I believe you are right bud!
I think it’s an awesome looking sedan ,it’s very handsome. I’ll have to get used to the rear end view of it, I really think that 2018 is a really beautiful year model . In my opinion it’s not quite as handsome as it’s counterpart 2017 year model ,I love the fact that they stretched it but shortened it ,I like the fact that they’re giving a lot of more standard features that was obsolete in 2017. I think it’s going to bring a lot of buyers on a more professional level to purchase this vehicle and I must say the 2018 accord still remains The enthusiasts and drivers car/drivers choice .I think it will bring record sales to not only the midsize car market but Honda as well #CongratulationsHondaYouGotAWinner
bought that SMR '18 sport. love it.
Great review got yourself a new follower 💪💪💪
Happy to have you! :)
The tuners are going to love this car. You'll probably see tuned Accord with close to 400 HP.
smasila, Agree with you, it would be a good tuner car. Wished the car looked better
Am I the only one noticing the change of time ? 4 pm, then 5 pm , then back to 4 pm ? lol nice car tho
amazing , aggressive and handsome car
How does it handle in the snow that's the question
Do a 2018 Honda civic si
The new Honda Accord touring or Acura TLX Aspec?
Does the sport have stiffer suspension then ex or lx models
Alumnikiid Yes it has stiffer suspension.
Some review you're doing..damn
Cool car!
What about the Passat?
only higher trim has blind spot monitor and HUD. theyre not standard feature. Honda sensing is standard on all trims,
BLIS is available on all but the base LX trim. HUD is only available on the highest trim, Touring.
This guy sounds like he’s been inhaling some of those Accord fumes.
Dont forget also tuned for 86 pump gas.....
Luxury cars 😍😍😍
Does the 2.0 Sport 6MT have a turbo boost meter as one of the options for the left dial / gauge in the instrument cluster? The 10-Speed automatic Sport has one when it’s in “Sport Mode,” but since the 6MT has no “Sport Mode,” does it also not have turbo boost meter?
Not really.the same 2.0 turbo. Its de-tuned kind :)
Would love an Accord Sport with a 6 speed; too bad the wheels are 19"- too large really. Otherwise, very nice!
There is some major problem with these cars. The paint quality is horrible. There are lots of cases of factory paint defects.
Now why would anyone get a manual? One heaps praises upon this car as a luxuriously 'Audi 7' like yet they want to SHIFT MANUALLY? SMH!
Nice car
Every professional car reviewer raves about the Accord. And if anyone sees that Toyota4Life, he’s just another troll !!
Car body punching on the sides, similar to Lada Vesta
Amazing Design fun to drive 2.0touring LOVE MY ACCORD 2.0..unlike that Boring camry outdated looking wanna be sports sedan...
I have the new 1.5 touring and the premium sound system is aweful. My current Genesis is crazy amazing when it comes to the sound. I would never expect the honda to even come close to that, but the truth is I wasnt expecting it to sound like a KMART KRACO Special either. Honda needs to partner with a sound brand to put out some decent sound. Im a little pissed off that my 35K Honda sounds like pure crap.
You should have tested the audio more before purchasing, I'm surprised to hear this given the plethora of quality systems available in other brands...I too would be quite disappointed to think I dropped that much coin on a mediocre sound system that I have to live with every day.
mediocre sound
The Ford Fusion sport handles like garbage. It also has one of the worst transmission. The accords ten speed is light years better. The only thing I can say is better in the fusion then the accord is that it’s awd and higher HP. Also the fusion sport is like $40k and up the accord maxes out at like $38k. Bad comparison but to be far there isn’t any cars out there offering so much for the value.
Video production's not bad, but this presenter has a lot to learn about being in front of a camera.
Does not include all of the safety features across the board; blind spot is only on EX and up. 6 speed is only available on the 2.0.
Six speed is available in the USA on both 1.5 and 2.0 engines (Sport model only).
Not crazy about turbos. As a retired auto mechanic I just see that as one more thing to go wrong. However, the 6-speed manual? Great! Otherwise known as a millennial anti-theft device! Does it still have the stupid CVT (continuously variable transmission) automatic? That technology has continuously failed to prove itself going back to the 1980s when Subaru introduced it.
The 1.5 has a CVT and the 2.0 has a 10-speed
peaceofpi That's a good thing! 10 speeds! Wow! I remember when a 4 or 5 speed auto was cutting edge!
They did the turbo engines to boost (pardon the pun) fuel economy. Fortunately, many modern turbos seem to do pretty well for reliability. I have a Subaru Forester XT with nearly 73k miles and have no issues.
I am definitely considering the new Accord...despite my dislike for FWD.
Brayden Campbell He really isn't old man. There's lots of millennials that go for manuals in their first car because it's cheap. If you asked an elderly man like yourself to drive a manual, they wouldn't be able to.
Complains about the steering not once but twice. Doesn’t say anything about fuel economy numbers or how much space is in the trunk. But hey, what do you expect for a modern EPS. What the hell is EPS? What about CarPlay? Do all trim levels get a HUD? Does it come in various colors?
How difficult is it for you to go to honda.com, look up the 2018 Accord, and answer those and other questions that come to you, anyway? You seem perfectly capable of using the internet to whine and ask stupid questions.
EPS electronic power steering
The take rate on sticks is so low.
Ivan Vojt my wife has to drive mine occasionally she hates sick shifts that's a problem for me as much as I love it I don't want to be driving my wife everywhere haha
Fusion? Tune this car.......290/hp and 373 lbft of trq. NO JOKE. Just get new tires!!
The reviewer is talking like an opiate addict
I like the front end and the side profile up to the rear doors, then it tapers off to this really squishy Audi A7 like fubar looking shit to the rear. I'll wait for the refresh when they at least fix those hideous taillights or perhaps aftermarket for something that doesn't make it look so buick or chevy in the ass.
Jehovah Hitler dude this ugly ass car is for ppl who think Buicks are beautiful. 🦕
No thanks .
2018 camry xse v6 301hp will eat that accord in styling and performance hehe!
du 30
Oddly enough motortrend already did a comparison test between the the accord and the camry. They have similar performance that if you hesitate for a 1/10 th of a sec you'll lose. Just to prove that hp isn't everything the malibu with its 9 spd and 2.0t has almost the exact same straight line performance. While also having essentially the same skid pad time and avg. G's as the accord and camry.
Anthony Weeks very well said thanks for the info sir. the question now is the reliability I bet toyota and honda has no porblem with that, I dont know about chevy malibu. good thing accord did not use CVT tranny
du 30
Last I checked the malibu had a higher predicted reliability rating than the honda accord by half a star, granted its not that big of a difference. But its down on the camry by a half star. But the accord and camry are new from the ground up. While the malibu has been out for a couple years. So it will be difficult to say if the accords reliability goes above the malibu. Beings its brand new and all.
Anthony Weeks yeah thats a good point they are "all new" they haven't proove anything yet, that is why im still sticking to my 16 4runner that has an old school bullet proof powertrain
du 30 2018 Mazda 6 2.5 turbo will eat both of them and it looks like a nice car instead of a rolling appliance.
I'll stick with my 2007 model thanks. Much nicer.
motleydude73 Lol
This thing is HIDEOUS.....9TH GEN ALL DAY EVERYDAY.. J35 4 LYFE
They’re so hideous.
Cayden S when have they ever been pretty or exciting to look at?
Cayden S lifehacks, ImportsRule, un Carrier, Caleb chapman = 1 person.
Cayden Michael Trolling incognito
It looks okay.for.me.
Just seen one in grey.
I dont like the looks of it. In person it doesnt look better. It looks like a big civic with a mix of the ugly crosstour. It just looks boring.
Toyota4Life you again, obsessed toyoTAXI fanboy lurking on honda accord videos. Gtfo of here and stay in your garbage Fugly inferior toyoTAXI camry
for real, why are you even here? it's a Honda, which i guess you actually probably like them, that's why you're on all of these accord videos commenting. You "seen" one today and went on youtube to look at them more.. read a book.. if you know how, grammar boy
GBraidi78 only thing shitty and ugly is this Accord 😭
Toyota4Life the only ugly thing here is your dinosaur toyotaXi camry with it’s crappy Entune. www.toyotausasucks.com. Truth hurts deal with it.. futuristic wannabe fast pretender as portrayed in it’s pretentious commercials.. go ride that taxi shit out of here
Ady N lol dude honda made a worse looking car then what it replaced and no V6. Camry looks better and has 301hp LOL.
Terrible reviewer smh
the infotainment and the dials on it, makes it look like some aftermarket product; is it just me....it doesn't look right or good.
I think it looks gorgeous.
Thats the new Accord Impala, ugly and weak, 2018 Camry is way better
yuck..the camry is stinkin ugly...esp the interior and the dash
Yuch
