How would you go about locking this while still being able to unlock it from both sides?
Same! We had some one to install our fence and gate. And they install that but u Can’t lock it!

This is not a high security lock, its more like a quick push lock. If you want to keep the intruders out you need to use a manual lock on the holes mentioned in this video.
It needs a flat piece of steel on the TOP on the inside side to lift the latch up with not having to hit it from underneath.
The whole design is based on that, you push the door and it self locks. But yes, it would be nice if there is something to lift up the latch without having to hit.

@@SamShuddersgee, thanks... Smartass... Or maybe I should say dumbass... Since there's at least 3 different types of locks that could be used. I'm sure you don't know anything about this... Since people tend to conceal ignorance with sarcasm or some kind of negative humor. Now do I know how to install these locks... Nope. Which is why I was coming to UA-cam in the first place. But for now I'm using a standard padlock to the person who asked... This would absolutely be the most simple. Although, a disc lock would install the same way... But when it comes to those cylinder locks, like some storage units have them, they actually slide into the latch itself, but I have no clue how you'd use that... Or if you could use it at all. Because idk where it'd slide into.
