No way, that Parmigiano is about £3 to £5 in the UK.
Wagu about £40 a kilo, maybe £15 for the tagliatelle with truffle. The only thing I'm not sure of is the truffle.
That piece of truffle is like 1 ounce and in the us it’s like $20 a ounce

Just watched a Video by the channel, Vincenzo's Plate, where the Chef is a real Roman Chef and he was reacting to 5 videos of people claiming to make Carbonara and yours was one of them. He was so amazed at it that even though it wasn't "Authentic" Carbonara, he said he HAD to try it, he loved the idea of the Wagu fat. So Congrats

Fresh pasta is not SO better than dry pasta, and i'm italian and i can prepare fresh pasta. Different consistency but flavour wise it's not so different

bruh what this was not even close to authentic. Traditional carbonara is made with guanciale, and doesn't have garlic.
@@lucasdh18 i think that the one tha u made isn't a Carbonara, you need to put on it even the red part of the eggs in a part of 3 red out of 1 white, and for the cheese you never had to put on it cheddar or anything that isn't Parmigiano or Pecorino; for the meat part u can use guanciale or pancetta :) love from Italy

honestly even though this is a very popular video just because of how fun the reactions are to this dish, the fact that we don't see this type of reaction almost ever in the videos posted by guga either here or on sousvide everything in the past three years is a true testament to how genuine their reactions actually are. if they ever faked anything every video would be just like this one
This video is tied with the Fuji TV Iron Chef episode where Hiroyuki Sakai makes a fried oyster dish so delicious one of the judges breaks down and cries on Japanese national television. Both are PRICELESS.

I actually ate something similar at Croatian 4 star "restaurant" but without wagyu and expensive cheese. I mean that restaurant has great food all around but that pasta man, that was really something extraordinary. Truffles really give it a unique taste. I can only imagine what the Guga's version tasted like.

Mine was egg, onions and chives. I ran out of bread so I only had the ends of the white bread loaf and it was AMAZING!

Wow, I just made this myself and damn it’s good! I was afraid the truffle might be a little overpowering but that was not the case at all. I had all the ingredients except for the wagyu so I used regular steak and it turned out so good. Hope you keep doing what you do Guga, love your channel and the way you do your video’s. SO this video inspired me 4 months ago. TODAY IS THE DAY THAT I MAKE IT! Picked up a fat slice of A5 Wagyu yesterday. This morning I actually went to a local truffle farm and uncovered a "extra class" high grade truffle of which I purchased. Also pick up the exact same pasta you are using here along with a fresh block of parm. The only thing I cant mimic unfortunately are your extra chunks of Wagyu fat that you cook in. Regardless, I cant freaking wait.

You did the right passage to cook it,and you put some expensive stuff like tartufo and wagyu meat (as Guga style) which didn't ruin the dish, instead that seems delicious!
The only thing you could have done is to eat it quickly the pasta because we don't eat it cold!

Carbonara with some mushrooms sauteed in butter is super cheap to make. And you can make it stovetop if you don't have an oven.
Just put Wyagu in the ramen. Should help the flavor some

I never understood their over-the-top reactions... Until I tried Wagyu for the first time. lol My friend almost instantly burst out laughing and I could not stop the stupid smile on my face. It was something else. Love these guys.
