    Hi there! I just made this cozy. My yarn is Caron Cotton Cakes Blush and Bloom color. I may deliver it as a gift with an actual coffee travel cup. Thanks for the cool idea. Simple easy Christmas gifts.

    Nice stitch and so very easy. It should be possible to close the chain and work in a circle, right?

    • @thecrochetmeknots
      @thecrochetmeknots  8 місяців тому +1

      Well, the thing about this stitch is that it's worked in rows, crocheting front and back in order to get that texture. If you do it in the round, I suppose you could turn the work as you would in rows, but I'm not sure if that would work the same. If you try it, please let me know if it worked for you! Give it a go! 🥰👍

    When crocheting the sc and dc are you going through both parts of the "v" or just through one part of it?

    Where did you find the "handmade tags"? I made a cozy today and love it! thanks for the video!! I see that someone else has asked this question already but for some reason I can't view your reply.

    Hi there, can I know what yarn brand and type you have used for this cozy cup? Mine keeps fraying😢

    • @thecrochetmeknots
      @thecrochetmeknots  8 місяців тому

      Ugh, I hate it when it frays! I used Mainstays cotton yarn (Walmart) for both the black and blue. The other, I believe, was Peaches and Creme. 🥰

    Can you do this in the round so you don't have a seam at the end?

    • @thecrochetmeknots
      @thecrochetmeknots  Рік тому

      Well in the round you normally don't turn your work and I don't think it would work with this stitch unless you found a way to turn each round as you would if it wasn't joined. Just have to make sure each stitch is placed where it needs to in order to complete the look of the full stitch. Simple stitches like singles, doubles, etc are easy to make in the round because the stitch is complete in a single row. These for example need 2 rows to complete. But try it and let me know if you are able to get it 👍

      I just answered my own question. I tried it and it works. I'm just learning how to crochet. I love this stitch.

      @@thecrochetmeknots thank you so much for your response. I made one for me from acrylic yarn and it worked. I got some Sugar and Cream it says it 4 weight, I used crochet hook 5 and can't get right it to tight , what am I doing wrong 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

    • @thecrochetmeknots
      @thecrochetmeknots  2 роки тому +1

      Hmm not sure. But if it's too tight maybe try a 5.5mm hook or add a few more chains at the beginning in the multiple needed? Not sure why that happens with certain yarns even though they say medium 4 weight they seem lighter. Try that and see if that helps🥰

    Do these fit Dunkin’ cups? I would assume they do since you said they fit the bigger cups. But I just want to be sure.

    • @thecrochetmeknots
      @thecrochetmeknots  3 роки тому

      They should. I'm not too familiar with the Dunkin cups. But You'll find these are pretty stretchy for a variety of sizes. If you happen to have one cup handy i would use it to measure your starting chain and adjust accordingly. 👍🥰
