I work at an authentic tea resturaunt where mainly who only get “bubble tea” orders. It’s actually a pretty technical process making bubble tea out of fresh brewed tea, condensed milk, milk and ice all perfectly to not waste product and to fill the cup perfectly. Respect

it depends on the store! some places have the recipes on the wall so you can just look at it while making drinks. other places start you off as cashier and train you to memorize the recipes until you’re ready to become a barista!
yay so excited for you! & training really depends on the manager/boss. it’s not as intimidating as it seems, so just take it easy! my manager basically will teach how to cook & do stuff in the kitchen first. then she’ll move on to teaching drinks and cashier. kitchen stuff can be kinda confusing at first but the more you do it, the more you get used to it! cashier is pretty easy mainly bc the menu is set up really simple. but training overall should be easy breezy!
I didn’t see clearly, but I’m trying to make nice milk tea at home and everything I tried failed. Could you please tell the milk tea base recipe? (Include black tea cooking time)
Raza Malik the way i make milk tea is like half and half of water and milk. i boil like 1 cup of water on the stove with maybe 2-4 tablespoons of black tea in it, then once the tea has steeped pretty well i add a cup of milk, let that boil again then i let it cool down. for boba, they have instructions depending on where u get it, and i usually make syrup to sweeten the tea and the boba with sugar, a little water, and honey. i let that simmer a bit and let it cool down before i add it to the milk tea & the boba. i hope this was helpful! if u try it out lmk how it went!!
Most bubble tea places use powder creamers that give imo a better taste then milk. Just use a good amount of brown sugar and powdered creamer instead of milk and you should get a pretty good result
Buy milk tea powder packets at an Asian grocery store. my favorite is called "royal milk tea", but most milk tea powders taste pretty similar once you add sugar.
i'd say 1 cup water : 7g black tea, i think you can use it straightaway, but you could steep a few minutes if you want. 200ml tea : 40g creamer : 30ml sugar : add 350ml water, or 450g ice

i don’t think there are any qualifications (at least not in my state). maybe check with where you live, maybe some places require a food license ? and it definitely depends on the store you work at, some stores allow 1 free drink per shift you work :P some stores only give discounts

Our trainer is very intimidating and doesnt speak much English and it's hard to learn. There is a lot of PRESSURE. He gets disappointed when we do something slightly wrong. How was your guys trainer?
our trainer was actually pretty nice! he talked us through everything and showed us how to do all the tasks. he made each one of us do it after him to make sure we knew what we were doing! i guess it all depends on the person! but don’t feel too much pressure, youll do great!

it depends on the store and what products they use! make sure if you end up trying it that you ask what ingredients are in each drink!
