- Ford Mondeo mk3 - Instrument Cluster Removal (2000 - 2007), so i wanted to remove the dash cluster in my mondeo mk3 ST220 to replace the bulbs. While doing this i decided I would replace them with new LED style and in a differant colour too.
This guide can be used if you just want to replace the standard bulbs or even if you need to completely replace the cluster it self.
The Bulb replacements are T10 and T5, The tools used where a T20 a Phillips driver and a trim removal tool

I had done this before, but some time ago and it was great to have a recap....... It is a well made video showing all you need to know....All went ok, but clocks were in firmly and I had to push from behind to dislodge them.. Thanks.

Great video, got me through doing mine, although did miss showing the 2 extra screws in the top of steering plastics took me ages to work out there could be more screws lol. 👍🏻

Thanks Chazz, top class instructions as usual from you! I've just changed my ignition lock and keys using your video for steering wheel and airbag removal and saw the link to this video so now off to sort out the duff leds on the cluster and put it all back together.

The ST clocks look much better than the monocrome clusters in every model below it..
Swopping st clocks for the monochrome affair in my ghia x id love to do..
I was told that when swopping out and moving speedos to try keep them as upright as possible..not your old smith clocks from the 60s&70s,but your modern digital 90s onwards stuff,,,ever seen clusters on ebay for example with the needles all over the place, anyhow yet another easy to understand and follow vid..well done again mate...Des.
Proper video mate. Camera angles show it like I'm sat on your shoulder, and the speed is long enough to get a memory of where to go what to do- but short enough not to be boring. Excellent. Now, have you got a video on refitting an ebay driverside window regulator on a mk3mondeo please? - as thats what I came for- but stayed for the quality of the video. Cheers

Great video - the attention to details and the perfect camera angles really help. Just one thing, I found that all screws are Philips on pre-face lift Mk 3 (I see your car is post-face lift) and also, there are two additional screws on the upper dash surround (where you pry out the upper steering column cover, you need to flip that up then you can see them in there). Cheers

Hi. I have a mondeo sw mk3 with an annoying problem, randomly the headlights level goes to lowest setting by itself, lighting "3 meters" ahead of the car. Some tweaking with high beam pulsing and/or dasboard light intensity and it goes back to normal position. Sometimes takes longer. Could this be a bad contact in the panel command ? Seen something like this before?
Is it a bulb for the rev counter and the fuel the one I have they don't come on when you switch the lights on

Hey man. Great vid. Slight problem. Once I have replaced the dash lights to a nice blue. All is good with those and look great however I have 2 problems. 1 - you now cant see the needles in the dark so you dont know your speed or revs and 2 - the 2 LCD displays now aren't lit up so during the night you cant see what the both displays are reading. Do you have a solution as to why that is please?.
Hello Chazz.. can you help me.. the cluster isnt working.. we used to whack it and then it would start again. We have a 2008 Mondeo estate. Could it be a fuze? what should i check before changing the cluster?

Hi for the small clock nope you just pop out the plastic surround with the hazzard switch and window demister.

It’s the internal air temp sensor I believe for climate control.
My mondeo mk3 T 10 bulbs in speedo won't light up I've changed bulbs put live and earth to bulb backplate bulbs work but nothing when I a witch lights on

Hey man, I changed my lights over to BLUE LEDS however the needle and 2 LCD screens now dont light up. Any ideas why please ?
Flip the led the other way, if that makes sence.
@@ChazzCoombes hey man, yes it makes sense don't worry 😂. I have done that, also tired putting the connectors ( the plastic clips the bulb sits in) placed the other way around and I have also put the stock lights back in and they dont work which is making me think it could be the fuse that's blown that makes the LCD screens light up. Next question is, do you have any idea where and which ones the fuses are located. Thank you :)
