I bought a Giro Manifest Spherical Mips last year, and I was a bit worried when I saw that one helmet size had such a big span. My medium goes from 55-59cm and if I personally had a 55cm head I would never have gotten this at all because then you would have to tighten all that slop just with straps. That's not exactly good fitment in my eyes. Thankfully for me I was just at the edge of this size so for me it just feels like a normally sized helmet. I did try the large size and that was like putting on a bucket to say the least. Huge difference. I am actually very satisfied with the helmet, I just hope they will shy away from this way of making helmets in the future, because you shouldn't rely on tightening a lot of slop just with straps. That's just for the last bit. The shell should be close to your actual head size and shape. 55cm head in a 59cm shell is no bueno.
