Kelly, you now have a handy explanation for what you do... When I was in my teens I got zapped by lightening while camping. I've used the phrase "I was struck by lighting. What's your excuse?" a few choice times in my life. Everybody laughed but it shut the antagonist down too. ;~)
I hiked this when I was 15 all the way to Wawayanda state park. It was an amazing experience.
The wolf rocks was my first AT experience. We took the kids and did the wolf rocks loop. I told the kids Pennsylvania is all rocks and roots on the drive and I guess this section proved it 🤭
these vids are probably behind , unless shes done or almost done...but cold is fast approaching, . vermont the whites and maine it will get tougher pretty toot sweet. Im getting worried.

You should be passing through Port Jervis NY soon & then alongside Bear Mtn state park. Port Jervis is probably a good place to stop at and get food. There's a small zoo at Bear Mtn for animals that have been orphaned & or struck by vehicles. That area was of vital importance during our independence from England. You're right by me. That's Crazy. Edit: Also if you're in the watergap you're by Bushkill falls. Nice little hike on wooden walkways w some waterfalls.

I was trying to mess with a downspout during a rain storm, lightning struck near by, and felt it in my body. That’s never happened to me, freak ME out. Stay safe girl!

Hahaha that flooring in the privy is the same flooring in my kitchen 😂 That is too funny. You are hella brave leaving your bag unattended. Glad it all worked out. Huge thanks to Gandolf for the magic. Gotta love some moist PA rocks! At least there were no snakes! Good idea pulling off trail for the weather. There were some bad storms this summer that I wouldn’t want to be out tenting in! Looked like an epic dinner, and who doesn’t love some Steve Harvey!! 🙏 Thanks for bringing us along today. I’m so a morning person. I’m pretty sure I’m going to be up at the buttcrack of dawn every morning on the AT. Unless I night hike of course. Glad y’all made the decision to say screw that storm if the lightning struck that dang close.
