Hey 9 lives... I wouldn't doubt that lying on your back, watching the sky and clouds at 10:10, was a highlight of your day. There's just something so positive about doing that. It gets us in sync with nature, where the gentle pace of the slow moving clouds calms the nerves and frees us from the frenetic frenzy of everyday life. Good medicine... and free too.

How often did you see rattle snakes? I noticed that there was a lot of places the grass was thick and the trail very narrow.
And my neck of the woods. Plenty of search and rescues in those parts!

YOU did the RIGHT THING..It's bad enough having to walk on a sprained ankle.. Ouch!!! BUT a broken ankle I don't know how you would finish with a cast and usually crutches at first! how far are you going northbound if you dont flip you wont get to Kadadin baxter Park closes Oct 15th but the Kennebec River crossing closes the end of sept
@S M Apparently is thru the Whites but don’t know if that includes all of ME. She did say in another post tho “not flipping” so maybe has in fact finished ME. More attention to the many vlogs would answer that tho. Looks like finish in MA, CT or NY

@S M What does it mean tho when she says “no more flipping” if she still has to go back down south for the last 200. I understand why her videos are way behind but I don’t fully agree with it, one wants to have some semblance of near-in-time reality to keep up the anticipatory enlightenment of the followers/viewers. Near-in-time.
@S M If she is in fact in Maine now approaching the northern terminus then there is no more flip to Maine, it’s just hike to the big K. However, if there are still 200 miles remaining further south as one mentioned then that would constitute a “flip” to get back down there and finish off the remainder.
@S M A future flip upcoming, yes. But why did she just recently say no more flipping if one is on the horizon.
