I think this has to b the greatest live recording ever!!!My friend thinks that Humble Pie at the Fillmore is the greatest, but no!!!
I seem to remember that this album was not recorded live at all but made in a studio which makes it even more incredible.
I’ll never forget listening to this for the first time in 1969, with shivers down my spine.
I always thought this was Janis Joplin’s finest effort.
As someone wrote: “If you weren’t there, this is as close as you’ll ever get”.

Tengo unas grabaciones de Janis en una cinta de cassette. Está cantando a capella y se escucha una guitarra que la sigue mientras de fondo los golpes de un martillo y creo que serrucho tambien. No sé como rescatarla del cassette al pc. Es algo muy raro y atesorado pero con temor a que se deteriore su contenido .A veces escucho mis cassettes de rock pero es triste no poder recrearlos en el ordenador.
podrian ser los "Typewriter Tapes" en 1964 hizo una grabacion con Jorma Kaukonen y de fondo su esposa Margaret, estaba escribiendo en una maquina de escribir, checa alquien que pueda pasarte la cinta a digital, hay muchos que ofrecen ese servicio.

I still like to listen to her { once in a while } , but I get my fill pretty quick.
