You are a lifesaver I just bought one, and was very upset at the wind speed. I left that piece in mine as well, but didn’t even cross my mind to check the flex tube for restrictions 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ Thanks for posting! You saved me from looking like an idiot because I was literally about to take it back to Lowes 😂.
I just went threw the same thing, I almost returned it. your video was my last hope, thank-you so much for letting us all know about that tip placement in the flex hose, never woulda guessed that!!! you da man!!!!
Glad I watched your video. I bought mine at the end of the summer last year. Put it together didn't get a chance to used it until today. And noticed it was missing the little tip on the hose. I took it apart and sure enough it was still inside the flex hose. Thanks for the video
I’m thinking of picking this up for my home. I’m not a pro just want a simple homeowner gas leaf blower. I have a battery handheld one but that only last like 20 minutes lol.
So if you want more cfm do what i did. Buy an extra center tube and don't use that tappered down end tube it comes with unless you need to get into some stuff stuck in between rocks. I never use that tiny end cap either unless i have to pin point something.
What’s funny is I bought this exact blower from a pawn shop brand new air filter white as snow and wondered why it blew so low and I take it apart and find that little piece so I got this blower in new condition bc someone didn’t see that part 😂
CFM recommendation. I have a half-acre yard. TONS OF PINE TREE(Norway spruce) a a few maple trees. I currently have a corded Toro which I think is 350 cfm and barely Moves Squat well maybe so so ) I’m looking to upgrade but not break the bank( I want under $400, but I’ll Go up Some of for the right one. Looking gas . I need powerful enough to blow entire yard wet leaves, pine needles and my BIGGEST CONCERN is powerful enough for Norway spruce pine cones. They are quite heavy pine cone.. what cfm minimum do you recommend. I saw one that was 765cfm for $349. I like the price but…is that enough. I want job to be easy. I saw another 890cfm, but it’s $479
This blower would be plenty good enough for what you need! Especially for the price point! I use it at the back of my property where I have years of leaves and pine straw and it moves that well!
Question I just got the same one , I used it maybe 4 times now and now when I start it and press the button to blow , she turns off on me ?? Have you had this issue ? Thanks
I had a leaf work itself in so when I pressed the trigger the leaf was drawn across the baffle like a valve and chokes off the engine. I worked it out and it’s worked great ever since. Not this model but likely works the same way.
How is your Husqvarna Bt150 holding up? I see a lot of bad reviews on this new model. People say the old model was better. I just bought the new model BT150 today and I have not opened the box.
$30 for a gallon of premixed fuel??? Why not buy my spare tire for $70,000? It comes with a free camero! Well that’s one way to sell an extended warranty! Evidently husqvarna thinks people are idiots!
@Leepegues jus purchased and used mine today after watching your video. Thanks. I also got the premix fuel. I'll pay more just to not have to mix gas and oil. I like the pour and go convenience. I guess it all ends on what a person's budget is. I fly commercial and not even first class. But I'll never say the guy getting out a private jet is an idiot 😅

I like it a lot , also very easy to start! I have a lot of big trees in my yard so this gets the big piles moving!

Thank you for your video, I’m ready to buy this blower now.
Glad I could help
Thank you for your video. It was so helpful. Perfect explanation!
Glad it was helpful!
Was about to make a $700.00 mistake with a Stihl blower until I saw this video!,ill be going to Lowes soon to purchase one of these!
Glad this video helped!

Much love brother, thanks for this video! I'd super suggest you mixed your own fuel if you'll be using a lot of if. It really adds up 💸🙏💪
Plus canned fuel is GARBAGE
@ damn I didn't know
Have you tried using it without the tip? I am going to try tomorrow. I think I will loose speed, but gain CFM.
Yup you are correct! I use it a good bit without the tip
So the premix I would one use it one time? And I can put regular gas after that. Or what do you put
I use the true fuel mix now! But you can buy the oil and mix the fuel yourself
Good review and good leaf blower... very reliable...
Thanks 👍
Dude, thanks for the video! I just got it and was wondering where the power was too! Why would they put that in the flex tube ?!
Glad this video helped lol
Question I just got the same one , I used it maybe 4 times now and now when I start it and press the button to blow , she turns off on me ?? Have you had this issue ? Thanks
I haven’t had that happen, but I have had mine bog down to a idle. What fuel are you running?

Got one today. Same set up. Can’t get it to start at all
I can't either!
@@codynichols6377 me neither
Take out the spark arrester screen. Gives you better performance
Had this blower. Was very good for the 3 years of hard use. It’s now RIP in my shop. Finally died
What went out on it?
so you dont put any oil in it it comes pre oiled?
Nope just the premix
That gas is already pre mixed?? Nice!
Sure is!
@@Leepegues hey when I mix the oil and gas myself, do I use regular or premium gas?
It usually tells you on the pre mix container! It’s best to use non-ethanol gasoline
How much it set you back
On sale $299
For the cost savings buying gas station fuel, I could buy a new blower every fall!
Mine cuts off when I press the button. Brand new out the box.
Take it back for sure l!
@@Leepegues it’s gone.
2 cycle mix and cap still in the tube?! Haha
Good points to know
