For what it is, a solid 9/10 and 8/10 if it were stock. Even in stock form I never bother racing a Type R as it reaches my car's limited top speed (250) at 6k while it keeps climbing to 270+ kph upwards of 7k rpm.

It would be really interesting if there was a foot/pedal camera. This guy inspired me to learn MT. And now I can. Thanks to your vids. Still need to practice downshifting though. Either by double clutch or just the plain (more difficult for me) downshift.
Sorry for necro but in the Type R (I know FK8 and FL5 have it but idk about FK2) it would have auto rev match for downshifting. It doesn't look like he double clutches tbh so it looks like he's just shifting through gears normally. I'm sure by now you're a lot more comfortable but you should try rev matching just cos why not and then eventually try do heel and toe if your pedal layout makes it easy enough to do. After the many years of driving a manual, I still cannot heel and toe and it isn't an easy thing to do so don't deep it too much if you can't but if you can then well done!
@@COOLUKGAMERFK2 does not have this feature, you have to do it manually :p

You can get 385 easy by a good remap and filter and a exhaust which isn't annoyingly loud like this and would drive you insane and make you tired on long journeys.

Damn. My beat up and abused 08 r18a1 with 340k mi had a top of 103mph. Crazy how a car with nearly 4x the hp goes only 50% top speed faster. That's a whole lot of energy in a block of metal going down the road.
i mean, a bugatti veyron has about 1000hp and a 200hp integra can go 250kmh
and with 5x the power and 100x the cost it only goes 430, so.. not even twice

Thats the phenomenon of the point of diminishing returns. Id say about 400 hp is where adding more hp starts to become less impactful, proportionally speaking.
