That part made me so emotional. They all think of him as their king and they sacrificed their own lives because of how much they believe in him. I tear up every time I see it.
Y’all confuse me. Ur pissed at Jesus for not lighting up a whole group of saviors, but Daryl killing that one savior y’all are like “nah that’s too far”
XpertFusion Jesus was like “We dont shoot unless they shoot first” which is pretty crazy to do in a war, meanwhile Daryl executed that one guy while unarmed
For real. They’re no the only ones who’ve done that too. It’s weird to me that everybody expected the protagonists to be cool with murdering prisoners.
XpertFusion yeah thats what I’m saying, he shot the people in the post but later on he said that line and one of the other people were like “But if we let that happen we’ll get shot at first” and he was like “I hope not”. Like Jesus is mostly right, but what he’s saying sounds a bit off for them to do in a war. Meanwhile that one random guy (Minkus lol) surrendered and Rick was gonna let him go, but then Daryl just executed him for no real reason
Notice how Rob thinks Jesus is a 'corn' for the compassion; no unnecessary kills schtick but he was all over Morgan's knob a season ago with his pacifist monk ninja shit.
There is a _code_ even in war. Usually leaders drag innocent soldiers into war who did not declare it to begin with. When one side is defeated who will be left after it's over? Total war ends when one side surrenders. If "soldiers" are captured or surrender they can't all be exterminated. If Rick's team wipes out Negan's entire army then they are worse than Negan's original team. We have learned throughout the past season that people follow him because they felt they had no choice. If given a choice who's to say they would not make a different choice? Negan is totally a monster but he has a code. He doesn't kill for sport or fun, it's to get folks on his side with the least amount of casualties. He understands humans are the most valuable resource, even more so than commodities/things. Otherwise he would kill *all* the people and take 100% of what they own. Rick's group lost two people in the beginning (one is totally on Darryl) and Negan's group lost dozens upon dozens. When does the cycle end? Right now Rick's team is 100% emotion and no logic. Negan is messed up however he is rational and thinks things through rather than act purely on emotions. Who are the real monsters and what does it truly mean to be *_human_* in this apocalyptic world? Question for the ages. *Cheers*
It's funny when people want a character dead then when it happens they get mad about it. Jesus is in my top 5 favorite guy characters so y'all talking about him like his wrong kind of made me mad but it's whatever everyone has their own opinion. My top 5 are Daryl, Neagan, Glenn, Jesus, and Rick top 5 girls Carol, Michone, enid, Judith and 1 character in season 9 can't wait to see ur reactions to season 9 it's freaking awesome
I was so mad at Daryl because I hate when he goes all rogue on Rick. Like bruh do what Rick says pls there's a reason why he is THE LEADER. When Daryl and Rick are on the same page it's glorious, and when they're not then just know something bad will happen.
@@TheLegend-hw3zu What do you mean Rick and Daryl has been on the same page since season 2. Daryl started doing dumb shit around season 6 and it got even worse during 8, which was weird af.
Eden Holdon how are the other people good? Like wtf... this is ricks story so obviously it would show them in a good light.. you think that if you lived in Germany during hitler’s reign you thought you were the bad guy?
The repetiveness of season 8 is why people hated it. Exactly as y'all pointed out with the Morgan shit, and the letting people live that shouldn't live. Yes, it's supposed to be a moral dilemma but it's war. It is better when you binge it, but when we were going week to week it was extremely frustrating as a viewer.
It's such a funny little detail, it's so "Gregory," but I love how he calls Maggie "Margaret" the entire series. Like, even her father was calling her Maggie. But, unfortunately, another shitty episode in TWD's worst season. The stuff with Rick and Daryl was fine. Everything is Jesus was absolute nonsense. At least the next episode is pretty decent!
"He killed Glenn in front of his pregnant wife" still isn't enough for anyone to stop loving Negan and thinking he's just hilarious, though. I will never understand it. The amount of people that jump all over good people (our heroes) every second, yet stick up for or agree with the bad people, is scary. Smh. Nothing is sacred to people anymore. I know it's just a show, but you're still showing who you are by how you react to certain situations, and whose side you take.
Late, but agreed. It never fails to amaze me how hard people defend and justify Negan's actions and mindset and waste no time to throw anyone else under the bus for it, even the OG group.
@@xnayu6333 once you go down the road RTTV was saying there's no going back. Also you become worse than the Saviors at that point. Lastly, even in war you don't kill someone surrendering.
I think we're pass the point of mercy. You don't need to take prisoners unless they have use. Anybody that is so loyal to Negan to the point to where they say "I am Negan" doesn't deserve mercy.
‘Jesus’ so naive; he doesn’t get ‘for every evil inhuman like the Negans he let go/safe, he is giving opportunities for them to kill his ppl, blood on his hands’. Saving the evils and killing the goods, what don’t he get?!

Darryl is out of giving second chances and def out of f*cks to give! Morgan, crazy ass killer Morgan stay with the smoke - shiii, free smoke if you blink wrong lol

I loved how King Ezekiel's men tackled the King and shielded him to protect him. That was some medieval sht right there
The guns just ruins the aesthetic medieval feel, season 9 does a lot better job of portraying it with the kingdom
