An exhausting ascent of the South Atlantic

💥 Since his return to the South Atlantic, the leader of the ARKEA ULTIM CHALLENGE has had his work cut out with the weather conditions. Indeed, for the past three days, Charles Caudrelier has had to negotiate several zones of light airs as the Saint Helena High is sprawled right out and a ridge of high pressure is stretching out to the Brazilian coast. Numerous tack changes have set the tone of late, associated with a rise in temperature as the Maxi Edmond de Rothschild continues her climb up to the equator. Such conditions have taken their toll on both the man and the machine. Today has been positive for the skipper of the five-arrow giant however, as the duo are now making headway on flat seas at higher speeds than the routing.
