I landed my first commercial franchise (family and friends can take you far). I'm nervous as can be trying to gather up the surrounding businesses in the strip malls and general area but the money is there and just a coupe of weeks landed me what it did I'm hoping 2 years treats me just as well.thanks guys you and SteveO have been a great recourse.
I always go high and work down to what I would feel comfortable doing it for..after some time you can almost look at a place and say 45 dollars knowing it will take around 20-30 mins..and if they dont want every two weeks I try for every 3 weeks rather than once a month also I sometimes charge a little more on monthly accounts If they get really dirty like auto shops ect..Thanks for the video guys, new pod cast is great
Luke, what do you do more of businesses or houses? I admit that i like businesses a lot more, because they are easier and more frequent. They also need it in winter as well.
i believe that there are a lot of parameters to give a price to a store....for example if the real value of your work is $20 then for once a month you give the price of $45 twice a month $40 three times a month $30 4 times a month $20.he will not say no to that special offer.Another parameter is if you have other stores to do near the same location. Another thing is that a lot of commercial stores occasionally change their front store products so that would be an extra cleaning especially when they sell season stuff. you also got to know what is your target, or you gonna have a lot of small or medium stores or a few of big stores per month.
My question is, what if you had 748, yes 748, of the larger panes? I'm currently surface cleaning concrete around the building and they want a quote. I was thinking $8 pane just for the exterior and $12.50 for inside/out, comments?
Luke, first off thanks for the videos. Im not in the business..this is just for my home. Ive learned a lot. But help me out please. I washed my windows today with Dawn and water and it looks like I have had water spots on the outside that aren't coming out. What do you recommend? Thanks, Dave
Selling on the frequency of cleans, you point out finger prints or the appearance of the clean glass? I got a new client who wanted monthly but I have driven by her place a couple times since her last cleaning and she the windows are getting hammered already.
So $20 was inside and out so like a $1 or less a pane? Also you charge more for a larger commitment? So you don't give a price break for annual or quarterly commitments? Ty for the info in advance
Luke The Window Cleaner: Is that what you charge for inside and out on something like that? also do u ever have a problem getting paid after giving a w9 for corp accounts 30+ days
Donathan Scott ya 20-25 in and out at a strip mall. Sometimes , but we use House Call Pro to track all of our payments which helps. I have a video on that software.
Wow we got extremely lucky with our first gig then! We contacted a regional manager for some strip mall stores around us. She has 16 stores and I priced them a $3 a window for each side! And the big windows we counted as two. So like one store has 8 windows we got it at $58 for in and out. Another has 26 windows and it’s $156 in and out. And she wants us to come out once a month. From the videos I’ve watched idk if we will get this lucky the next time around lol
+Justin Owen ya thats really high. see the problem is if another guy comes buy and bids it at $2.00 per pane in and out ... You may lose that job. but hey man its awesome you got it
Why not charge 99.00 a store front? Its 2020 now. 100 bucks is cheap now. Idk, just a thought. Could charge 100bucks bi-monthly. Any feedback to this is good. I side hustle exterior jobs and handyman.
I can get £3 for a small store in the uk.. They won't pay anymore than that.... You can price whatever you want but if bucket Bob is around you won't get the work..
Yeah it does depend on the area. At $40-$50 for that Storefront, you would be landing very little jobs here. But not saying it cant be done it's just not competitive in this market.
Very true. This is an extremely bad video. Old and very cheap. Honestly couldn't agree more. It's at least interesting to watch this and see how much our business has changed.
I don't do much commercial storefronts but I price them very similar to you guys. Occasionally I admit I do five dollar blowouts - but they are no more than two panes and a door (four sheets total). Easy peasy, do better than the other five dollar guys and they will stick with you... or not! But usually they are loyal and some strip malls (mind you in the most competitive / cheapest area) I can do in 45 mins and make 75 bucks at 5-15/store
+Luke The Window Cleaner hello I been window cleaning for 20som yrs n I love it is something that I get up with a smile I'm always looking for new ways n ideas n shortcuts , I work for Rochester Window Cleaning I the fact that is seasonal but I am always like little kid on first day of vacation thanks . have a good day

Luke The Window Cleaner what about contracts?
Here in Boulder, CO we would price this at $30....Round up is our rule!
SteveO The Window Cleaner dang ....na they ain't gonna pay that here ..not in a strip mall.
I know this is like a year old..... but I agree with Steve0 got to round up 20 is just a little to cheap.
Good banter
Is that for in and out?

man, I miss these guys! Even do I'm in a different industry these two inspired me to start my own business.
You guys helped out a lot. Think I’m over pricing these store fronts. Probably giving them the residential price. Thanks!
These two always dropping gold nuggets for the community. 🤙🏼
Well Done! There needs to be unity so bucket bobs can learn too and not mess it up for the rest of us.
No window trusts here
You pretty much nailed it. The only time I change my pricing is if it's a construction clean, or a one time clean. Great info.
Hi, It's 2023,how much would you charge now?
I always go high and work down to what I would feel comfortable doing it for..after some time you can almost look at a place and say 45 dollars knowing it will take around 20-30 mins..and if they dont want every two weeks I try for every 3 weeks rather than once a month also I sometimes charge a little more on monthly accounts If they get really dirty like auto shops ect..Thanks for the video guys, new pod cast is great
wow... I must move to the US then... in Spain it would be 20€ inside and out... that if bucketbob doesnt show!
You guys really have helped me with window cleaning buisness i just started, thanks for tips and advice.

Been trying to figure out pricing to the window cleaning part of my pressure washing business. Thanks for the advice

Great info here. Thank you Luke and Reanna.
Thanks for sharing this information! Good luck to you both @Kfreshwindows
Your spot on with your prices. It's easy to say you would charge more but at the end of the day. Joe Blow with a pole would do it for Less.
+Clarke's Cleaning Service, Inc. Window Cleaner thank you very much man!
Great info 👍

Do you charge for cleaning the frames? Thanks please let me know

Hello im new subscriber in your channel. Who talk to clean the windows the landlord or the store manager. Thanks for the advance.....
Hey man how would you clean the insides? Do you bring your water bucket inside? Also do you wash over those stickers on the window? Thanks
How would u clean the interior windows that have the vinyl signs? Do u take them down? Go over them? Or jus clean around them?
When you go to those places do u ask for the owner or manager or what ? Who pays you
what if you have a 2 story building and have to use a pole? how much would you charge for those windows?
Curious as well, windows on 2 story on out side extremely dirty how much?
I would double the prices for every story you move up
Hi guys. Would it be 20 bucks for every time you clean it or 20 bucks a month
I assume it per visit
Reanna did want to re shoot the video should have said $25.00

One of them is the exact size as the cricket store in your video with 12 windows I quoted $36 outside only and $72 for in and out.
+Justin Owen ya thats really high. see the problem is if another guy comes buy and bids it at $2.00 per pane in and out ... You may lose that job. but hey man its awesome you got it

What about outside only? What do you charge?
Have you two considered cleaning Solar Panels on buildings or houses!... great video btw thanks ;)
Is there a contract involved? Also is there a contract involved in residential?
Love the beard look, Luke... It's legendary! 👍
Storefront's rule..! :)
how do you guys make money I mean how many windows do you have to do to at least make 300.00 in a day?
Storefronts rule..! Jus say'n.. :)
Lol in Amsterdam they do our window for €5.. 😅. That's so cheap, is that normal?
Does $2 per window on commercial building include inside as well?
So is that 20 bucks in and out? Or just the outside?
How much do you pull in a day just doing your commercial Luke? new subscriber
"Crushing it" on store fronts
How much money to drive to this object? Or have you there already a customer?
+Wollef der Fensterputzer already have several there
Ok, I'm probably too tired from the many window cleaning and had it in the video not understood! ;-) Greetings from Germany
Good stuff guys. Were you saying $20 for inside and out or just outside. Something like that in my area would be 15 to $20 just outside
Riley's Cleaning service yes i agree, i charge $15 outside only. On store fronts. And i indeed offer custumer repeat discounts, on once a week or more
Riley's Cleaning service yea we would actually be at $234 for inside and out but for new guys I guess $20 would be fine.... 🤓
Benito Jr I here ya! Just how we do things . 20 -25 inside and out . Our minimum is $20.00.
Love the barber comparison!
Always Bright & Clear how we roll
do you guys eat?
Join God's Kingdom Now no never have
Just doesn't seem worth it, I've been sticking with residential only
Yeah if it took me $20 in gas to get to that customer it's not worth it to me. $20 is lunch money 😔
wow. that really cheap price. out here on the west usually will be $40-50 for once a month.
I can get £3 for a small store in the uk.. They won't pay anymore than that.... You can price whatever you want but if bucket Bob is around you won't get the work..
In Australia it will be 120$
Do you have a minimum?
$50 in CA, outside only.
Just I'm amazed by the lack of attention people are giving this...
Guys I clean some store fronts here half the size those Windows I get $35 I won't do anything for less than that.they always pay it
Memo Torres good job buddy!
I would charge twice the price but then again I live in the bay area and people will pay it.
Yeah it does depend on the area. At $40-$50 for that Storefront, you would be landing very little jobs here. But not saying it cant be done it's just not competitive in this market.
Bad audio
1 dollar is about £0.7?
Those glasses always drive me crazy as half white
Undisclosed location
Lmao
Any town USA is what it looked like to me
Man need 1000 clients to make any money.
Very true. This is an extremely bad video. Old and very cheap. Honestly couldn't agree more. It's at least interesting to watch this and see how much our business has changed.
So $20 for inside and out together? Wow - seems cheap, but if you get it done in 15mins that's ok ;-)
I miss you guys an gals..lol.
I just bid a similar storefront for $25 in and out 👍🏻
Clean per week? 😆
Yeah I hate the economy too
Another one that doesn't talk about just outside bids. I don't want people in my house.
$20 a window storefront that’s the wrong fo me
I don't do much commercial storefronts but I price them very similar to you guys. Occasionally I admit I do five dollar blowouts - but they are no more than two panes and a door (four sheets total). That's not 10min lol
$2 a window? Dude that's cheap. Is that what you charge for residential?
+rockdiamond hell no....res starts at 8 glass only no sills or screens
Is the $8 include In/0ut? So $4 per pane?
Evident Glass Cleaners 8 per pane in and out.
