I dig the Ibanez Bi Mode PH 10 Phaser a lot for a phaser ive never even seen or heard of ! Sounds pretty good for an old Ibanez pedal. I dig the MXR EVH Phase 90 and im not even an 80s guitar guy at all. I mean he shreds just never liked that band, and the look aesthetically does nothing more or less then the phase 90. I do very much like the script option it brings to the table. No LED is the main deal breaker with that particular script reissue. I need an LED. I will always love the sound of a small stone. The one before that one large box was my 1st phaser and 1st love and I played it for 10 years or so as my only phaser live and everywhere. Loved that. Strange how they kept the same large box for Small Clone but didn't until "the $300 gold one" just now sell us the large box small stone. Those nano are famous for breaking unless you have a switching system which I don't and im a fan of pedals that last so ive stayed away from the EHX nano in particular. Love the sound of it. OBV don't like the sound of that STRICH. Awesome phaser video. Eventually some day I'll end up with the EVH MXR I really trust MXR build quality and longevity. Awesome analog pedal company. Love my carbon copy mini(which I use a lot live) and BLUE BOX block logo (which I don't get to use much live because its such a cool gnar octave fuzz thing but I use it on recordings on solos and I hope to use it live in the future on solos) and they are built super tough and sound great. Love the MXR/Dunlop Echoplex unit they made w tap tempo that is one of my favorites doesn't feel as SOLID build quality so I just take it easier stomping on that baby. Cheers and thanks love comparisons of phaser sounds when you show HI Gain sounds and then funky sounds and nice short video. Love it
@@musiccellarmillerton Mainframe is one of there more expensive pedals so I think is has better components/footswitch etc. I think the Nano pedals are the ones famous for not being able to go more then a couple years if your stomping on it every day. I have a friend who keeps his nano holy grail reverb on top of his amp and turns it on with his hand and doesn't stomp it and he's had it stand the test of time 10 years or so. Ive heard the Soul Food Klones can expire between 1-2 years. I mean if your handy and know how to replace a footswsitch might be all good on there cheaper pedals. I think the weak link in the cheaper pedals is usually the footswitch. I have an east river drive and im just really easy on it. I have quite a few EHX pedals and they are mostly higher budget except east river drive. (Mod Rex, POG 2,Super Ego, Mono Synth, Electric Mistress vintage large box 90s,memory man w hazurai. Riddle Q Balls, Flanger Hoax, etc.) I haven't had one break yet but I do use the 9.6V wall wart with all those pedals. I had my memory man w Hazurai and riddle Q Balls on a board powered by my Strymon ZUMA and they started glitching out and I immediately unplugged them and never used them without those hideous EHX Wall Warts I mean they are so huge and awkward. but.... if you want the dope sound you deal with it. Eddie from Glass Pony example has the Good Vibes univibe and he def only powers it with his EHX 9.6v power supply. I guess the point 6 on the 9 volt counts with the specific pedals .With a nano or a big muff or a small stone I think your fine off a normal power supply. Hope this of help, yeah mainframe looks like an awesome bit crusher pedal ive wanted top check that one out too ! I think that one is safe ! cheers
@@musiccellarmillerton Mainframe is cool but def check out the Red Panda Bitmap 2. Both EHX and Red Panda are wild companies and both pedals are great but the Red Panda build quality is SOLID and functionality is super cool too.
I’m liking my MXR Phase 95. Phase 45, 90, box and script in one small pedal.
@@mattiisosalo918 would have loved to A/B them w these and see how they compare.

@@PMTluke thanks for watching! Are all the EHX small pedals known for breaking? Cuz I was looking at the “Mainframe” pedal recently
