We’re having ignition dramas in our 80’s model Hiace and am looking into electronic conversion kits! Other than the wire going in this Ep. how’s your experience been with it over contact points?

Maybe consider going to electric ignition
It is one of the last vechile, with a crank handle.
Which good when Nigel is knee deep in the mud and dirt.
You can take the plugs out and crank Nigel out.
The whales heard there was a Landy on the beach and came for a look.
They must be British! hahah
