There are plenty of Megadeth songs with great bass riffs. Check out 'My Last Words', an even older Megadeth track than 'Five Magics'. It has also has a very interesting bass track. Plus the song kicks ass.

If you want a hidden gem of a Megadeth song, I would suggest Burnt Ice off of United Abominations. I know its not 90s Megadeth but that song has some of my favorite drumming and solos out of any Megadeth song.

The bass tone in that early part has the warmest tone. This was the first cd I ever bought. The album came out a few months earlier.
This bassline and tone is soooo clean and dirty at the same time, technical yet simple. It's bloody incredible, glad you enjoyed Tabe, thank you for watching

Thanks for another great Megadeth reaction. This album is one of the best of all time. Definitely agree, stay away from the remasters, except for the first album. Killing is my business and business is good. The remastered version, The Final Kill I think is a worthy remaster.🤘🏻👍🏻

Another great Megadeth reaction. Fun facts: each lyric at 5:56 has five syllables (the five magics) and the section that starts at 4:58 is in 5/4 time (maybe 5/8? It’s been a long time since I had to figure that out lol.)

You HAVE to do the Skull Beneath the Skin soon. I guarantee you’ve never heard any other metal song like it. The sections are eclectic and insane but the drumming is so spectacular that it all hangs together. It’s on Killing is my Business…and Business is Good!

@@ExploringTheSmoke Oh, and make sure to get the version from The Final Kill. They spent their budget for the original album on drugs and booze, so it sounds awful lol. One of the rare occasions where the remaster is better than the original.

Wow, you can hear the base with those tiny headphones? Need to get ones that cover your ears and have a bigger diaphragm to get the full range of sound!
I prefer in ear headphones/ monitors from years of live music, I do love an over ear pair of headphones don't get me wrong 😂

"Eradication of Earth's population loves Polaris!" Megadeth had a problem in the 80s and 90s: they couldn't help it, they were just plain badass! Dave went to rehab like 22 times to help with his bad assery but to no avail.
