      Ah! Thank you for that. I so needed to hear that. I have been swamped with so many things that finding time to make new videos keeps getting pushed back. This helps me remember that video production is important

    great video!! Just a quick comment Staph Aureus is a Gram Positive organism not gram neg, so it's a little exception to the ami'NO' memory trick just so people don't get too confused! :)

      Thanks for that clarification. I think the textbook I have has a few errors. I did review it and yes it is a positive- so just keep that tip in mind :)

    I guess I'm confused with the first question because Tobramycin is across from E coli and Streptomycin is across from pseudomonas aeruginosa

    S. aureus is gram positive please. But you could have considered their aerobic nature.

      Yes, the info came from the text book we used at our school and it included s aureus in the gram negative - I never thought to question it as I prepared the video. I love it when people point this discrepancy out because it shows me people are confident in their knowledge!!! Well done and thanks for adding to the conversation.

      “Aminoglycosides enter breast milk but are not well absorbed orally. Thus, they are considered compatible with use during breastfeeding” Merck Manual
      Anytime medications are given to a pregnant or breastfeeding momma, we look at the risk of the drug to both - and the risk of not giving a medication
      Always done with the consultation of your healthcare team
