Got my papers approved. Quit my job. Studied for 3 months. Used many reviewers, one of which is PICMONIC. Passed my NCLEX first try in 2019. Now working as an RN and have to re-subscribe again to refresh my memory. Thanks picmonic! If you are an international graduate RN don’t waste your time applying for NCLEX in CA because after giving all paperworks that they asked from you and your school. 99% of the time they will just suggest that you go back to school or take LPN test instead. Move to a place who wants your hard work and service. Education cannot be taken away from you! Push forward! Work hard! God will do the rest for you!

I had this kind of cartoon medical terminology class when I took my PCT state exam! I passed it. The visual learning systems are far more exceptional tools, If we could carry these type of teachings in all educational systems! Wow! This would save a chunk of uselessness lecturing! That you never will use in the real world!!🥰🤣

For me, I remembered Ace inhibitors this way: instead of pril, think prick. As in this prick is going to inhibit you from ace-ing your test if you don't remember it. It's stupid but it works
dude, my high school teacher said ppl remember the stupidest thing for long time and its true. She said that before saying remember the charge of cations as plussycat, and here i an still remembering what she said after 7 years lol and i like your analogy too, thanks

Great video! If you could talk a little slower, especially when you say the medications and side effects, that would be super helpful. I had to repeatedly google things you were saying only to find that it was something different. For us newer nursing students, we don’t know all these fancy med terms yet so please try slowing down and pronouncing words and terms a little slower and more clearly. Thank you. Otherwise, I enjoyed the video and how you organized the info! Very helpful. 😊

In my pharmacology class, my professor said that angioedema is more of a problem with ACE inhibitors and if this occurs they would likely be switched to ARBs. This video says it's the reverse. Just wondering which is more correct so that I have it straight in my head.

If an individual is new to nursing has no idea where to start where to begin because it’s so much to know. How can one get a foundation of the necessary most important things they should know to pass nursing school? With picmonic where should the person start to get a basic foundation if they are clueless with no medical nursing background? Is it a certain order to start and end? Another way of memorizing that the Beta Blockers end in olol is by seeing that the word BLOCKERS has LO in it. Just switch them and you have OL. 😱🤭😂

A great way to remember loop diuretics is a semi taking the loop, and using the loop (circles ) the water going in circles when u flush the toilet. lol. Thought I'd put that out there! Anyway, thank you so much for this so helpful!

I may have asked in the past but I’m going to ask one more time then I am going to apply what you tell me. If an individual is new to nursing has no idea where to start where to begin because it’s so much to know. How can one get a foundation of the necessary most important things they should know to pass nursing school? With picmonic where should the person start to get a basic foundation if they are clueless with no medical nursing background? Is it a certain order to start and end? Whatever you study in picmonic for nursing is it the same for nurse practitioner? I would love to just have some type of blue print to get more understanding so I can know things.
