Killer Queen Each ASMR creator has their own unique touch to videos. So Maria doesn’t dabble in layered sounds, I’m sure their are tons of creators that do. She seems to like the style she makes and it works for so many people, making her the top (or so she was, I think it still applies) ASMR creator. Why would she change something that is working great and has worked for 8+ years?

2.) Superior lighting! Nice and even, no hot spots, no harsh shadows, no mixed lighting!
3.) ALWAYS Flawless makeup! Seriously! Flawless! (I know how difficult makeup for camera can be!
4.) Creative! You are always presenting new scenarios for tingling pleasure!
5.) Presentation! You've developed an "on camera" persona which is quite appealing and very different from your "real-life" day to day personality! What you've done reminds me so much of exactly what Norma Jeane Mortenson did with Marilyn Monroe.
6.) last but not least...Voice control! Always a very nice mix of engaging vocal chords (soft spoken) and whispering!

@@CallMeMONGOOSE Nope, I did not see that video yet! I've noticed that a lot of ASMRtists use dissolves between matching shots...which is a no-no! Its much easier and considerably less noticeable using a cut-a-way or a clever wipe.

Tons of ASMRtists apologize for ambient sounds in their videos and I usually never hear them, even after they point it out. But if I do, it doesn't bother me at all. On the contrary, I think it usually helps the video.

There’s nothing wrong with getting Botox. She might have a small amount in her forehead, you don’t see wrinkles when she raises her eyebrows.
Also keep in mind that she has VERY good lighting that might erase any wrinkles we would normally see. Either way she looks great :)

I haven’t lost a parent but I grew up with severe attachment issues and my mum just got busier and busier as I grew up so I was felt very void of nurture and motherly comfort, I swear Maria helps so much with it. I wish you strength every day forward x

Hobi Hobi when it comes to college it probably depends on the specific Professor. In my studio classes I was able to use my phone for music and reference images! Some other professors would allow students to use their phones to access documents and readings we were given. It’s definitely not as strict as it was in high school

Man, I remember a few years ago I got a new computer. I knew what type it was but I didnt know what it looked like. It was an ASUS computer. So looked it up and found an unboxing video. But it had this weird word in the title. It was "ASMR" I didnt think much of it so I continued to watch the video. Once she started talking, I thought it was weird that she was whispering. But I kept listening only to find out i was getting tingles up the side of my head. To this day I love ASMR because I found your video Maria!

The layering of sounds is subtle but ON POINT. It just makes it feel so much more real when you’re putting the mask on and you can actually hear it. I had a similar experience! I’ve kept it a secret for over 6 years because I was worried people would think I’m a freak but I’m getting to the point now where I just just don’t care what anyone thinks and if they think it’s weird, oh well🤷🏼♀️ I’m the one whose life has been made better from asmr
It seems like a lot of people feel this way. It’s definitely strange to explain that certain sounds or visuals make you physically feel something, but I find that explaining it as that it is similar to white noise, it is relaxing and helps me sleep. I will try to explain the tingles, usually I tell them it’s similar to using one of those open whisk looking head massagers but something in my brain is wired to get that feeling from certain sounds or visuals. And not everyone has it, just like some people can roll their tongue and some can’t, it’s like a special little thing about some of us including me. And what triggers is it different for everyone. That’s part of the fun of it, finding your unique set of triggers. Actually I’ve found that a lot of people will look into it just to see if they get tingles and they end up loving ASMR even if they don’t because it’s still calming but a few have actually gotten tingles too. Not everyone likes it, but I’ve found that even the ones that don’t like it kind of step back and let me be in a “whatever works for you” kind of approach.
