That was a cracking intro. Did notice a lot of shots were on the river. Glad you mentioned the DT line and the leader. This would be my go too on drys. Lets hope we have a good year for dries as last year was on and off. Nice one Darren.

Thank you Shaun. I love the DT lines, easy presentation and they cast so well! It's already switched on up here, even with the unpredictable weather. Here is to a good one 👍

@@northeastangling i realised you can put too much mud on line it turns white, which flies to gink and what parts of flies too.some looked like drowned rats some the fish wouldnt touch.learning how high flies need to be in the water and what do you put on a fly with cdc feathers to keep it buoyant but well presented

Hi there really good intro to dry fly fishing I have fished dry fly on rivers and still waters , I use 5ft so but am trying 4wt and have had fish up t 3lb on 3wt , I do not find it takes longer to land fish on these weights my theory is that the lighter rod bends more than heavier rods and puts more pressure on the fish.
Still brilliant video hope it gets more anglers trying dry fly and put those lures away.
    Regards Ian
