Jesse lost his voice back before Howard stepped in for those that didn't know..Only the real know.. Just like Chino of Deftones.. That is hard damage to come back from , just like Steve Perry of Journey.. My hats off to him for coming back and giving it all he's got. He is getting better.
It's actually not. He took vocal training, which is what's needed to do things correctly. Screaming is a technique. A lot of people don't understand that.
While I do agree his voice isn’t as robust as Howard jones screams and singing, I think Jesse does a decent job overall, he does miss some notes but he’s smart enough when he’s got to let go of those long notes to conserve air. Jesse can still scream circles around me and like 99% of everyone else. Screaming is hard, on the vocals and it’s a miracle he can consistently deliver despite his obvious setbacks.
@@kmeadows78 screaming is a technique yes but trained screams sound different from raw screams and sometimes the latter just sound better, even if they're unhealthy in the long run

I'm glad they played "beyond the flames". It's my most favourite song from KE. I wish to listen to "blood stains", "quiet distress", "just let go", "alone I stand" and "no devotion" live.
To think that I discovered this band in a guitar hero game a few years ago with the song My Curse, since then it has become one of my favorite bands, the sound of these guys is surreal.🖤🔥🤘🏻

Without KSE I wouldnt have slipped into harder music eventually black metal, hardcore, downtempo etc that I listen to now.
