    Even though I've been making Korean food for years I learned a lot from this video. I didn't know much about the difference between brands and ingredients in each item so that was really helpful.

      Sorry for the late reply - you can substitute honey, maple syrup or corn syrup depending on the recipe.

    How long will gochunjang last once opened and set in the fridge ?

      Gochunjang can last for years in the fridge. It's just that after a year or so, it will lose a bit of bright flavor, can dry up and become a little too salty.
