The Pontiac GTO "The Judge" package was in a class all by itself! That's a real beauty! The engine sounds real healthy, and with it being a manual 4 speed, that makes it even better! I'll bet you loved driving it! A real head turner indeed!

Saludos cordiales!

Hi Lou! It looked like you were having a good time driving 'The Judge'. Your video reminded me of what it was like to drive with drum brakes 😮 Thanks for another enjoyable car and video!
Just AWESOME! I remember the car well! (I think I just aged myself!) Love the color, love it's a 4 speed, and love the price! Glad you got to drive it!

I always thought that Pontiac had the best designs. The whole family of Pontiacs were all so good looking. Even better to ride in. My favorite GTO, probably 1965, 1966, 1970, 1972!
As a naive youngster I owned a 70 Judge hardtop that I bought in Barrington for a thousand in primer and needed a timing chain. When I put the timing chain in I found out the Ram Air III had major work done and was pushing around 400 hp through the splitters. One day a friend said as I started it someone was innocently walking behind the car unbeknownst to me and the sound it made caused the person to jump 6 inches high directly in his tracks. My fondness is for a '70 455 H.O. or a Holy Grail O.R.E (Off Road Exhaust) where the Ram Air knob was located. I almost bought a ORE but haggled over a 1200 dollar asking price. Very nice Judge. Lou always says right number of pedals, this one is the color! I love the red. Ram Air 3 motor, 400/366 hp. The interesting thing is the 455 was rated 360 hp and the Ram Air 4 rated 370 hp. The Ram Air 4 was actually about 420 hp. Convertibles quite rare. That baby sells at auction for $100,000+ today. No way I would ever part with it were it mine. A real gem, especially a 4 speed. Wonder if it is a 3.90 or 4.33 ring and pinion (standard on the Judge package but you could order anything.) This ought to go about 12.5 in the 1/4 mile with good tires. thanks Lou, I love it.
