Charlie Joe Hi Charlie, I was wondering how well the colour did last? I have used the lilac grey version of this product, but since the colour faded a lot I need to dye it again. As the product only works on really light hair, I was wondering how you did this? Did you dye your hair the same colour again, was it as light then as it was in this video and did it work? Thanks so much!
Hi, I have dark brown hair. I am so confused on what to do.. do I bleach my hair first to blond? After that I use the slate grey and developer? I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing..
Your hair looks amazing. I have one question ,I bought the same hair colour today but since I have dark brown roots and white hair , do you know what it will do to my roots, will they get orange yellow or will they get that silverish tone? thanks . :**
I have no idea sorry! They won't go silver. I recon it'll tone any warm tones out of the hair but won't drastically change it, but I'm not a professional so I don't know sorry!
hi! I'm about to dye my hair with this colour. I have only one question which keeps messing with my head - why do u use the water? I mean, it doesn't say on instruction to mix it with the rest stuff.. I'm so confused right now, cause this is the only video I found where somebody is actually showing how to use this product step by step... :(
Hiya, as I explained in the video I ordered the wrong % developer, so I diluted it with water in order to reduce the % to the correct amount. If you have the right % developer, there's no need to dilute with water.
i really don't want to use a developer or maximum a really low one, cause my hair is really a mess what can i do to use this colour? reducing the % or shorten the processing time? guys help just white hair isn't doing me a favor
I got ash grey brown hair done at the salon and now i got the igora slate grey to tone my hair. Since I am just toning it I am using a 10% developer and I wanted to know if you have any tips on how long I shouls leave it on my hair since I am just toning. Thank you!
So far I've had it on for 3 weeks and it's starting to fade, still very grey but getting hints of blonde, so looking slightly green tinted as it's a blue based grey.
Hey dear ~ i have one question. My hair is now orange/ blonde and not at plat blonde like you, my roots are black. Will that product go in the blonde orangie area? I got the product allready since it was gifted and i was curious if it really need to be light as your hair Greez
Yeah - your hair needs to be a very very light blonde, like the inside of a banana colour. If it's orange it won't take, I recon it would just tone the orange down a bit.
oh okay.. thanks you alot ! well it is more a bit yellowisher then the inside of the banana, its more like... a bright yellow but not as bright as the inside of the banana :( but not dark like the outside aswell
Hiya, I've bought a 60ml tube of Igora Royal Absolutes in Slate Grey and a 1000ml bottle of 3% developer. The mixing instructions say Mix 1:1 with 3%/10vol. Does this mean mix 60ml colour with 60ml of 3% developer? Thanks.
hello!! ♡ thanks for this video, the result is awesome ! today I tried to dye my hair to grey. I was chocolate dark with red reflects at first and we have took away the color with olaplex. It worked well but we only attained orange hair color. We didn't know it should be lighter for the grey to taken on. The result was that now I have green/ blue hair. We used a Wella product. We contacted them and they said I can't have a grey at this stage and we have to go back to a brown color.. I don't want to, I spend 7 hours at the hairdresser and i don't want to go back to the beginning.. what can I can I do, knowing that now I have blue/green/light brown hair.. I'm washing it in ordre to throwing the blue and green away but I don't know what should I do to obtain a light blond after this in ordre to not damaging my hair (and so I can get the grey color as well after this). The first approach didnt damaged my hair, they are in a very good shape thanks to olaplex. Can you give me an advice ? Thank you very much!! A green/blue/light brown color girl from Belgium.
OMG... it takes a long time to achieve the grey... If your hair is orange after bleaching maybe a blue shampoo (like the Fanola brand) may help correct the brassiness, then you should try one of the Schwarzkopf silverwhite toners... BUT if your hair turns out more yellow after bleaching you should shampoo with a purple shampoo like Schwarzkopf Bonacure color freeze for silver hair or they new goodbye yellow shampoo (I haven't tried the new one yet but I'm getting one); the thing is that of you use a blue shampoo on yellow hair it will automatically turn green and no chance to be grey. That's based on my experience, hope it helps in some way 😊
Why it got so dark, is it blond me steel blue? Lol I have platinum hair and gonna dye too. But if it gonna make it black I don't want, please let me know
Ok so a month ago i had my hair professionally done slate grey and, after the grey faded a bit to a dark blonde, I decided to buy these products to top it up. but after using it, my hair is still dark blonde with black tips?? any tips please?
Did you have to re dye your hair blonde when it faded out? or did it go back to your old light coloured hair? im scared i made a mistake and if i want to go back very light blonde ill have to bleach it again :(
Charlie Joe thank you! It's gone green/darker blonde than when I started so I think I'm going to have to bleach it and start it again😒 need to start looking at YT videos before I dye my hair haha
how long did the color last?? i have jet black hair i wanna go for light blonde color from this range....so do i directly dye that color onto my original hair or do i need to make them white like you did in the video?...plz respond
hey, I was planning to give myself a caramel balayage using Schwarzkopf Igora Royal, I have black hair and I didn't want to use bleach as it really damages the hair. Will this product do the trick for that?
If it’s dyed black hair then no, color doesn’t lift color. You absolutely need bleach. Unless you have virgin hair, you can get away with using a high lift blonde to lift a couple of shades, but it still won’t lighten as much as bleach would.
Your hair color is awesome but few people know how to do it right. I hope your Vblog gets more people to get this done right
You look beautiful! I want grey hair so bad but my hair's too dark to go lighter, so I have serious hair envy right now
+Georgia Marie Thanks :D You could try doing a black-grey ombre! Those look seriously cool, and that way only part of your hair would be damaged.

Slate grey and silver white are different tones of dye
You are looking very beautiful without makeup...
Great color. Well done. You look amazing !
Can i use that hair dye on lilac hair?
Hi, I have dark brown hair. I am so confused on what to do.. do I bleach my hair first to blond? After that I use the slate grey and developer? I feel like I have no idea what I'm doing..
The only think water does is either take the ammonia out the or water down the peroxide

you have to have blond or bleach to a level 10 1st for this to work

Hi! how many days does it last on your Hair ? Ps: you look amazing :)
So far I've had it on for 3 weeks and it's starting to fade, still very grey but getting hints of blonde, so looking slightly green tinted as it's a blue based grey.
+Charlie Joe Thank you for answering! I'm doing it today so I'm excited! I had my hair bleached to about 9 so I don't know how it will look!
Good luck! I hope it works out :)
+Charlie Joe Thanks :) I did it and I dont know what happened but it is completly black! 😭
Oh no! D: It'll probably fade to lighter so try not to worry too much! Get a clarifying shampoo and it'll fade quicker

It looks amazing, next time you'll do it better regarding the patches 😉
I just realized this video is from 3 years ago LOL

Does this mean mix 60ml colour with 60ml of 3% developer?

Yes Your right 60ml of colour to 60ml of developer

Having ago at this today will let yous know how it goes. Eeek
you are a diamond!
how did you get your hair white to start
I have another video on that :)
+Charlie Joe wheres that video ? :)
is the silver color extremely light? and do I have to use their developer or can I use a generic one?
Their is probably better - you have a proof that it will work will this color. In my country the developer is even cheeper that the color itself.😂
what is the base color of the slate. does it have a brownish hue or bluish hue?
Blue :)
What kind of percent of developer she use, I got at home 9%
Why it got so dark, is it blond me steel blue? Lol I have platinum hair and gonna dye too. But if it gonna make it black I don't want, please let me know
It's just a dark dye, they do lighter ones too
Can you mention the colour number? Would be helpful
This series doesn’t have numbers, it’s slate Gray in the Schwarzkopf absolutes silverwhite line
Ok so a month ago i had my hair professionally done slate grey and, after the grey faded a bit to a dark blonde, I decided to buy these products to top it up. but after using it, my hair is still dark blonde with black tips?? any tips please?
Why did you use water also to dilute it?
I say in the video :)
Did you have to re dye your hair blonde when it faded out? or did it go back to your old light coloured hair? im scared i made a mistake and if i want to go back very light blonde ill have to bleach it again :(
This dye didn't fade nicely on me, I had to dye over it. If you want something that'll fade nicely I'd try pravana (I did another video on this dye):)
Charlie Joe thank you! It's gone green/darker blonde than when I started so I think I'm going to have to bleach it and start it again😒 need to start looking at YT videos before I dye my hair haha
it is important to wash my hair with purple shampoo after i dye them?
Did this fade??
Is this a permanent hair dye?
Yes
Hey, did you use igora silverwhite dove grey or igora silverwhite silver? And is it neccesary to use developer? Im really new to this :)
I can't remember which shade it was just I 100% definitely say in the video. Yes you need to use developer, that's what makes the dye work :)
slate grey
how long did the color last??
i have jet black hair i wanna go for light blonde color from this range....so do i directly dye that color onto my original hair or do i need to make them white like you did in the video?...plz respond
Omgosh, go to a professional Hairstylist!
I dont think your supposed to dilute it with water

@@S.elene_ thanks! I have virgin hair, would 9% 30 vol igora royal oil developer work?
momo chan Go with the 40%, with high lift color it is always recommended to use 40 to get the highest amount of lift.
@@S.elene_ thanks a lot! I'll try it out :D
Good work 👍👍
Could you have a good response to our video and let me know what you believe as I do believe you could have an eye for the work
habla menos por favor!!!!!
My hair are now on a peachy color, if i use a developer of 80% and this stale grey dye will it be nice?
Littledaisy 0 your hair must be as pale blonde as possible to get good results
